Few things in this game are more satisfying than scoring a direct hit on a ship with a bomb like that.
Nice - you really didn't have to show the aftermath of the landing. Combat landing with air brakes - excellent.
Accuracy of bombing is excellent. You should have swamped the rest of the flotilla with the tidal wave from all of those bombs going off at once. (Game mechanics need an upgrade.)

IKR? Now that I have discovered I can use dive brakes for steep landing approaches, its the only way to land lol.

Yep I was literally trying to create as much drag as possible on the descent including opening the bomb bay doors. Dive brakes are the latice fence located under the wings near the leading edge. You can lower and raise them by pressing Right ALT and B.

What is that window on the upper side of the Ju88 fuselage . . . approximately one-half of the way along the fuselage?
Looks like it houses the direction finder.
Thanks for the reply Froggy. It would, however, seem odd that the direction finder lies below the outer skin of the fuselage (i.e. flush). Usually DF's are loop antennae outside of the fuselage so that the frequencies (190 - 1750 kHz for modern day NDB's) are not attenuated by the aluminum skin.

Is is possible to play that game with some VR? Do resolution of it really gives such possibility or only IR track?
I dont have VR, but it is enabled on IL-2 and I know some people use VR successfully.

how the hell do you keep target visibility in this thing? Like for me i have to use the bomb sight to even find anything and the only time i have visibility is when actually diving or just before (in the floor window) otherwise the view is totally blocked from every direction lol
external view and aim assist in this track. In multiplayer though I use bombardier's window for better forward view. Or the bomb sight.

Cheers :) It's not visible in the video, but in-game, there is a yellow aiming dot/circle thing and it makes for some accurate dive bombing - One paints the target with the yellow circle and release and usually hits.
