Milling Tip: measure the pith to bunk on each end. subtract the smaller number from the larger, then divide by 2. This is how much you need to raise the small end. This will give you more lumber per log than not doing this. When you hit the knots slowdown give the blade time to work tru the harder wood of a knot. And yes proper blade tension is a must.
