- Japanese culture is filled with different concepts and philosophies about life. They teach us how to lead more peaceful and fulfilling lives. It's no secret that the people of Japan have the longest life expectancy and while diet is a major contributing factor, their approach towards life is also attributed to this.
This video contains 5 Japanese concepts I felt were the most applicable to our own lives however there are many more which I would encourage you to find out about. Rather than seeing achieving large goas as the key to fulfilment they see small day to day pleasure accumulated as true happiness.

What I appreciate about Japanese culture is the way they demonstrate the essence of their values in everything they do. They never brag, or put other cultures down; they present themselves with excellence, grace and dignity.
You are right👍
Historically, China overshadowed them for most of their history, so they historically don't look down on their superior neighbour.
But then.... they did.... big-time.
See my video "A conquistador refutes the Metatron (a famous youtuber) on Samurais VS Spaniards."
Well.... No
Actually, no is correct.
According to many friends who worked in done business in Japan, they have said that the Japanese themselves admit that they are quite racist and consider most of the world inferior.

Who else love Japanese traditional methods nd techniques 😍😍

Japanese culture has so much cool style and interesting way of looking at things.
Ikigai is a Japanese concept meaning "a reason for being." According to the Japanese, everyone has an ikigai. Finding it requires a deep and often lengthy search of self discovery and reflection. The word "ikigai" is usually used to indicate the source of value in one's life and the things that make one's life worthwhile.

Peace.
My favorite Japanese expression is: Ikidakimasu. From my understanding, it not only is saying 'grace' before a meal, but being grateful for the infinite causes and conditions that have come together to make the meal possible.
We indians also do such ritual . But it's not like word it's whole prayer....😂😂 nowadays very few people do it.
Christians also do it, so its not a special Japanese custom.
@@zsu8498 The difference is Christians thank a fictional character.
itadakimasu.
@@Nipponing In historical scholarship only the ignorant think Jesus was a fictional character. Scholars in the field won't even take you seriously if you reject that Jesus existed, the evidence is without question. There is no debate among historians. This can be accepted by secular or religious historians in the field.
Please read the famous Atheist Bart Ehrman's book "Did Jesus Exist?" "Bart Denton Ehrman is an American New Testament scholar focusing on textual criticism of the New Testament, the historical Jesus, and the origins and development of early Christianity. He has written and edited 30 books, including three college textbooks. He has also authored six New York Times".

Gaman and wabi-sabi is the home hitters for me instead we should love ourselves but strive to improve ourselves and to be calm in bad situations and patient through it and through those we learn and grow

Wow I wish this was learnt this years ago.
I love Japan and all these motivational quotes and philosophies, but my inner 5 year old keeps going, "Heh, icky guy." Do genuinely love the culture and traditions of the Japanese people though, and these practices to enjoy every little thing about life sounds magical to me.
I apply these noble Japanese principles daily and I am starting to feel like a Samurai 🙂
I need to learn all and I hope one day comes that I can live there. 💓
Gaman also allows people to ignore other people’s pain.

I watched the series "Shogun". A very powerful movie about the true Japanese of past centuries. I recommend to everyone. Previously, in the land of the rising sun, knowledge and philosophy in general were highly valued. Now, judging by Japanese author’s channels on CZcams, this is no longer the case. In my opinion, the correct philosophy of life is that you need to try to be stronger in any adversity in life. It is difficult to remain calm when you receive unfounded and unfair criticism. Here the Japanese sages are not entirely right. In my opinion, you should always be fair in everything, both with yourself and in your relationships with others.

Japanese culture is awe-inspiring and fascinating. The Japanese are among the most talented, interesting, and hard-working people on the planet. I'm hoping to go to Japan soon. Have you ever heard the term "flow state"? Flow is a state of mind in which a person becomes fully immersed in an activity. The flow state is discussed in the C. Wilson Meloncelli Channel. My first foreign country visit was Japan.
I was mesmerized by their discipline courtesy and willing to help always attitude..
But when I look at the history of Japan in the World War II, it doesn't seem to be a good one..
Japan's tendency to occupy other countries and make them a colony for their raw materials, massacres by Japanese army in Manchurian region of China does not speak of a tradition or a race to be respected 🤔
Did their surrender in the second world war make them humble and polite like this, I wonder!

Our problem is, when we try to tackle too much things at once we get overwhelmed, and we get discouraged and or quit, we must diligently plan and go from simple to prudence, by planning efficiently and effectively through wise counsel, if the plan is not sound, reform it by writing it down, a journal, binder and calendar, than putting what we have down in action and executing.
One priority and one goal at a time, pace yourself, life is not a race but a marathon, when you get tired learn to rest, and when you are active in your pursuit, be all in in trying ti accomplish it, vigorously and unwavering, practicing discipline and steadfastness, Like leonardo davinchi said, he who is fixed to a star does not change his mind, as long as your conscience approves your conduct and what you do, having the right disciplines and upright ways, pursue your goals unto death, lioe Jim rhon said, do it until, until it gets done, rejoice in it. And move on to your next goal.
All the way.
Amazing brother, thanks for sharing this!
Actually, as the Bible says:

That is true, and in essence the same concept as the philosophers, though with that quote, it had more conviction. What Jesus was saying is you have to believe you can accomplish that goal, and you will.
Jesus was a miracle worker, very few men have ever accomplished the things Jesus did, he is the only one in the Bible that beat Death.
Although, you have to remember, Jesus is at the end of the book, if we do not take heed to the entirety of all the prophets and the word, like Jesus said, it will all be in vain, many will say that they follow Jesus, but few know scripture, this is what he was teaching the likes. of the Jews and his Disciples, for He knew more scripture than them, and more accurately.
Anyone who knows more than you is either looked at as a teacher and loved, or disagreed with and scorned, hence why most Pharisees disliked Him and even hated him, because He unlike them practiced what He preached.
Japanese my biggest tradisional people.
