No, although some says but all are fake news and you can buy one on ebay
Yes they have discontinued their products. Yeah you can purchase some old stuff on eBay but it’s all going away.

Ring does, you have to buy the First Alert Detectors and they are on sale at Costco, make sure you get the z-wave compatible one though.
