I still can't believe two completely different interests I had came crashing together in that interview! Deadmau5 music is awesome and got me through alot.
Michał Karnicki lol aii but he did part to my friend dm5 could definitely do something just like this in Ableton with Kontakt but he said that it just won't be the same and so he collabed with the orchestra but he actually also did part🤷🏿♂️
Few edm producer are like him. None are he is very unique and not a generic artist like Martin garrix etc. You hear their music but deadmau5 music is felt
that's one of the biggest differences between deadmau5's acoustic sets and A&B. The crowd here has very little appreciation and respect for the... well... the music behind the music.

I thought about waiting one day before uploading it but the concert took almost all of the memory up on my cellphone and I had to clear it for some family things I am planning to film later today. You'll enjoy the show, I'm sure!
So I'm reading too many shouting/cheering complaints at a classical concert. It's fine I use to be in the same boat, but contrary to what you guys might think conductors/band members from E3, GOT, Hans Zimmer concerts all have expressed appreciation for the crowd's enthusiasm and they feed off that energy because it's not what they're accustom to. The crowd is respectable enough to do it at the end of the each song and not during, so I say get your cheer on cause the band definitely loves it
I'd love to watch this, but the crowd just makes me angry, everytime I try to watch an orchestral concert which was shot in US, this, game of thrones etc.. Not in the middle of a song, please!
I dont think you understand the love for the artist...these people aren't orchestra people. We're a different breed. We need release & this is too beautiful to not appreciate with all the respect and joy we have
@@pdelos7266 I'd say that's a pretty weird assumption. There is no different breed, just mind your manners. That's a 50 artist playing at the same time, they don't need you screaming on top of all that. Give your release when the song is over like everyone else. In a piece like this some parts will be played really quiet, and you don't want at that point someone screaming right next to you. Everybody came for the music, not for the screams. That's how you respect everyone, especially the music and their performers.
I have only skimmed this performance so far but insofar I have gathered that they do scream after the song? At least for the most part. Or when it’s a deadmau5 synth/electronic plugged moment. The crowd/fans couldn’t help themselves. This was something different. That’s life.
it's fun seeing an orchestral performance with people actually cheering for the music for once! i at least hope the orchestra was warned beforehand though.. 😅
Beautiful it’s my will to have this played at my funeral to be remembered never to forget! How did u know who’s in my will ? We must think alike, or you just have some kind of connection shout out to Glendale Philharmonics , John Matt Witmer and Edgar James Sandoval and a thank you to Joel for knowing with out really knowing you did ! I hope each person who inappropriately made noise at this concert has an air-raid siren go off at their wedding during the vows. If I knew them I would also walk by with the loudest leaf blower and aim it at their faces! :D
For a good portion of the video I kept thinking, who is the ass shining a laser pointer onto stage...then I realized eventually it was just a lens flare.
I was really getting pissed around the 8:40 mark when I thought someone was shining around a laser pointer on the players, even on their faces, until I saw it was just the camera lensing haha
A lot. This is the cmg music recording orchestra, conducted by John Barry the recordings for the album were predominantly in the East West recording studios (John William's studio of choice) I would hazard close to the million mark if not well over for the cost of the entire project (two live sets, reorchestration, transcribing all of Joel's music to sheet, each player, lights rig, stage guys, sound mixers, etc etc etc.) Really expensive basically.
Also to add, CMG are one of the highest sought after orchestras for projects, they do blockbuster films, and have some of the most prestigious musical talent in their orchestra. Joel spared no expense to make this music, and although he can afford it, it is exeptionally pricy.
Based audience! If the orchestra artists didn't like all the "screaming and shouting and inappropriate behaviour" the conductor would have stopped the concert immediately. But they didn't because they love the appreciation.
I was joking.... I think this is great. Would love to see him do a film score, I know he's expressed an interest in it, and even sat down with Hans Zimmer.

This is absolutely insane! Analogue synths and a real orchestra?! Wtf!!!!!! I gotta see this live

I can't wait until Joel starts composing scores for movies like Hans Zimmer. Pretty sure I heard him say in an interview that it's his end goal.
Andrew Burton lol han Zimmer plagiarizes his own music 😂😂and no it's not his signature style
Andrew Burton he is actually
Not to take away from this beautiful project, but Joel paid to have his tracks arranged for the orchestra. Zimmer IS a one man orchestra. Love both.
Michał Karnicki lol aii but he did part to my friend dm5 could definitely do something just like this in Ableton with Kontakt but he said that it just won't be the same and so he collabed with the orchestra but he actually also did part🤷🏿♂️
Seeing as BT did this with electronic Opus, it's really time that they team up. They're both visionaries.
I don't think people know how to behave at classical music concerts
