I lived there for a while, went to school there, then moved to Denver in 97. I love the music scene there and had just started playing when I moved. I was just there at the end of July for one night and played on 6th street at a place called Ninos, i think. Nice vibe and people. I'll be back again sometime soon. Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks...i'd say that after 6 months or so i could lay out a simple blues thing..but it probably sounded pretty basic ya know...it's all about fine tuning and polishing your technique/licks/ and pushing yourself to be more passionate etc...to get to each next level.
I guess it took me till that moment (11 years or so)...i 'd say that after the 7 year mark something began to click that made playing music natural and enjoyable..perhaps it was just putting the time in and improving. the better you get the more fun it is to play...you have more to express and you can do it more accurately
i live in england and ma drum teacher is a big blues fan hes a drummer but hes into all blues stuff but the midlands around birmingham is big on jazz and blues and im a jazz drummer
Hello, Let's see...no exercises done right before playing the segment, but i do regularly exercise and stretch the breaking point/max ability of my diaphragm through playing. I am always focussing on bring my airflow from deep within the belly. I slow down my breath/heart rate as I play in order to maintain specific holds and repetetive licks etc.
#ivansaric33-this is just another way of playing and he is showing us what a harmonica is capable of. I've heard it played fast, I've heard it played slow. When you're good, you're good, any way you play it. And he is AMAZING.

I think it would have been much better to start slower then off to the races. That's the thing about CZcams, you open your self up to everyones comments good or dad. @abedkeit Hehe I believe Harmonica sound is too loud for Cat ears. My cats used to jump and attack on me when I play harmonica. She never did when I play violin or guitar or any other thing. Just Harmonica. Then in time she get used to it and stopped jumping on me. But I stopped playing for a while and just started again and her attitude gone back to normal as she would jump on me again and again:)

its the first note you play on 0:24, 2nd note on 0:30 seconds and threw 0:57 to 1:00 you did it a couple times in a row... i think that sound is fascinating. louisiana comes to mind when i hear the note, or technique

it is a Db 10 hole diatonic..not sure what brand I was using but you can make any Db 10 hole sound like that.

Not sure what you call it, but it's the diaphragm popping air and causing a cough-like sound. It's happens when the diaphragm is really working!
