Put some respect on Leno. Ramsdale has been amazing so far but it’s good to know we have a world class shot stopper if needed on the bench. Just a shame that his distribution and the poor way he commands his box let him down, those are needed for a top gk in the PL.
I don’t think he commands his box poorly. He’s more the type of Van Der Sar, he will make saves but he won’t necessarily yell at you for it. We all know Leno can communicate. While Ramsdale is more like schmeichel, he will make a save and start yelling on the defenders even if he’s the one that makes the mistake. And for a young defence you need a keeper that will yell at them. If this defence was experienced I think Leno would be a starter. And you said his distribution wasn’t good but people don’t see that it’s actually good. Just because Ramsdale is far better, doesn’t mean Leno’s poor. A goalkeepers with poor distribution is Lloris. That’s why France don’t play out the back with him even Spurs
@@daneorigene6913 When I say "commands his box" I’m referring to the way he gets bullied by opposition forwards in his area on set pieces with the example of the Brentford game. And his communication with the defenders is not great either.

Leno is a shot stopper not a ball playing GK just like Cech. No wonder they made mistake on feet but amazing with their hands.
Szczesny is underrated i still dont know why Arsene let him go. He is still young in goal at that time.
Arsene let him go due to a certain outburst in the dressing room. It was after a match against Southampton in 2015. During this game he made 2 errors which resulted in 2 goals and a loss for Arsenal. When he got into the dressing room he apparently lit a cigarette in the shower and got into trouble with Wenger...

Ramsdale is starting to grow on me. His save against Newcastle today made me feel warm inside!
I could be wrong but Aaron Ramsdale is Arsenal's best goalkeeper since David Seaman ... Even against Liverpool he made impressive saves and above all he has the winning mentality that does not come apart even after a defeat! He will be England's number 1 goalkeeper.
Nah Lehmann was unreal at times in the unbeaten run. He also single handedly got us to the UCL final. Which he then got sent off in😂😂😂😂

For everyone saying Ramsdale is the better shot stopper, by miles Leno is.
Leno has better positioning, quicker reflex(exibited at 3:10) and he is the better diver.
Ramsdale has been amazing so far, he has better feet, better distribution and commands his box better. He seems to have improved our overall gameplay. In the more recent seasons, ball playing GKs are valued more than other GKs. That's the only reason I am patient enough to wait on Ramsdale.
We were all drooling over Leno when he arrived. Time will tell, and I hope Ramsdale continues his form but never ever say that he is the better shot stopper.
There's far more to being a goalkeeper than shot stopping and Ramsdale is 10 times better on everything else
Great compilation, but there should be a lot more of David Seaman here. The greatest keeper we ever had.
We really had two really good keepers in Szczesny and Ospina. There was no need to sign Cech.

I remember that game so well like it was yesterday. My nerves were jangling for the full 90mins. Villareal were all over us from the start, mounting unrelenting pressure and missing so many chances. I still don't know how we survived that game. Just when we thought we were home and dry, the Ref awards them one of the softest penalties I'd ever seen. Lehmann then steps up and makes the save that takes us to the final. What a game that was.

I put leno above ramsdale. He has been very unlucky he face so many shots and played with clown defender.
If Arteta knows what he is doing, he must continue to bench Aubameyang,a natural goal scorer is not relaxed on the pitch and always physical and hungry for goal.Give the team against Southhampton more playing time,including Pepe.Goalkeepers gets too much pressure when their goal scorers/strikers underperform.

We had two decent seasons from Cech but he was in decline after 2017. Ospina was incredibly underrated, but his height affected his presence imo
