- This is a newish Bayou 250 that was added to the stable and Im pleased with finding one in such good condition basically brand new. Good reliable affordable ATV for the money these 250's

Nice. I bought an 03 Bayou 250 last year for $800 and a 99 Bayou 220 for $900. The 03 needed some new brake shoes front and rear and a lil elbow grease. Came out great and runs like new. I just brought it out of storage yesterday and started for the first time this year so I'm getting the itch to go hit the trails.
can't wait to get mine. going to be my first but if you could make a series of mods and upgrades so I have something to look up to that be great
+DonGaming Not really anything worth really modding on these, bigger tires would make the bike less maneuverable in tight spaces and make it heavy which slows it down. They are pretty much as good as you can get from the factory. Simple, fun and reliabe.

That one looks good blue I had a fourtrax 300 blue 4x4 didn't care for the color or it or it was was to low the 2wd actuly was. Taller if got a 06 bayou 250 green rebuilding it got cheap
Just picked one of these up tonight, a 2005 in super good shape for $800, pretty good deal in my opinion. Any idea what the little pull tab is for hanging out the back on the left side just under the rack?

Chaviator no but the 300 and up are available in 4×4
Would this work good to use around the house? How much could you pull with it, With an adult rider 225 lbs be to big or to much for it??
I would say you could pull 350 to 400lbs on a trailer and yes it will handle an adult rider. Just keep in mind is small so you will feel a bit cramped if you are used to bigger quads

I would try amazon, just type in the tire size and it should give you a few options and tread-patterns. Thats were i got my new tires for my Bayou 300 and i had a local shop mount them for $40 with slime. Always get slime sealant.
I have a 250 2003 and it goes 50
You gotta rember that people weigh differnt so it depends but very cool

@@SuperFastRc I had someone keeping pace behind me with a motorcycle. I was on a road for over half a mile. There was a slight downhill.
