No, they have seen them and ask commanders to start hunt to f22. So F22 has been saved... As commanders hasn't answered and hasn't accepted the hunt that's why they just gone... That's set. 🤔 But anyway it's not a real situation, this situation has been made.
Incase ur curious, this happens weekly outside of elmendorf Alaska. Except our f22s instead come from underneath, to inspect their payload before confronting them. It happens so often the pilots recognize each other and laugh and wave at each other. I think if they ever actually had to fight each other at this point. Neither the russians nor americans would br happy to shoot each other down since they been flying together for years during routine intercepts.

For the air force to talk about letting go of the f22 would be a drastic mistake. Nothing anywhere makes enemy aircraft pilots shit their pants more than the raptors ability to just ghost you.
Everything has to be paid and the F22 is simply to expensive to maintain. And the F35 is good enough for the task. Why would you need a F22 when no country has that same abilty. Your paying for capabilities you never use.

When it comes down to it with all the new tech and abilities in gen 5 and 6 aircraft you are still going to spend a cubic shit ton. The f22 is worth the maintenance fees. It would be a massive mistake still and the f35 still hasn't seen any real combat yet and the ability to dogfight still hasn't been proven yet in a combat setting.

The F-22 is not easy or cheap to upgrade. You'd have to gut the whole internals and a new modern engine. The F-35 is more modular design and will have a longer service life because of it. There is a replacement to the F-22 currently in development and probably be ready in the 2030s.

@@11235but quite the opposite. Stealth can hide or extremely reduce your radar cross section in terms of the Raptor, and with those very bad radars on the Su-33s they have no idea.

Haha! They usually fly in pairs at minimum. The more in the air the more targets they can acquire and use each other for target fixes. Raptor might be out of ammunition, but it can use its data to use another raptor's ammunition.

@@jefferycollyge3877 Why upgrade it if it is still years ahead of near peer aircraft and will be replaced by NGAD in less than a decade?
The F-22 is not easy or cheap to upgrade. You'd have to gut the whole internals and a new modern engine. The F-35 is more modular design and will have a longer service life because of it. There is a replacement to the F-22 currently in development and probably be ready in the 2030s.

@@alexanderwolf8766 Always have to ask yourself "Who is the person recording this?" How is he behind the F22 and the Su33s? How is he inside the Su33 cockpit? Who would edit and release this footage if it was real? If you ask the right questions you dont need to tell the difference. The Russians wouldnt release footage of them getting embarresed like this and the US wouldnt be able to film inside their cockpits. So therefor the video cannot possibly exist unless its fake.
