    Fantastic video Ryan. Really appreciate you doing the radio set up, without the B.S. like others. You stuck to the point. Keep up the good work on your new reviews.

    To quick change models on the DX9, press the clear and back buttons simultaneously to get into that option without going thru the system set-up way. Just FYI for folks that are not aware of that fearure. Great video Mr Pilot Ryan, very informative 👍🏽👍🏽

    Listen to you call the prop blade mounting nut a bolt and then call the bolt a screw..........was painful.... 🙂....great channel, great build and GREAT plane...Also thanks for showing the radio setup so many people skip over that part of the build and why its important etc...

    Assembly looked super easy and all the fits were spot on. Super slick looking bird. The Smart tech with the possibility of alerts is amazing. Setup seems very user friendly. Looking forward to more videos of the Smart tech.

    I wonder if that motor will bring my old p51 back to life, wonder how motor mounts differ. Couldn’t really tell. There is one thing this mustang doesn’t have that my Airfield 1450 still has on it and that’s the moving exit air intake. Love that feature on that plane, so cool and scale like. Wish they would of added that to this one.

    I just got this plane but I'm having an issue. I have all the servos connected to the receiver, and I plugged the ones that are for the aux bec into the battery channel on the reciever. But when I plug the battery in it just steadily beeps and there is no power to the receiver. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    That plane is soooo awesome!! How many channels did you use? I am looking at new transmitters and wondering if the dx6 is enough for a plane with safe flaps and gear. I assume the gear would be the 7th channel. The website says 6-7 ch is required so I assume SAFE would have to go on 6 ch? Sorry in advance as I am new to this stuff, but I am already totally addicted!! I have 2 planes now BUT I know I will have a collection in the not so distant future!!!!

    • @PilotRyanMedia
      @PilotRyanMedia  Před 4 lety

      6 channels for me. I did not use safe. If I were shopping radios I would get a dx8 or 9. Most planes have channel six for flaps 5 for gear and if someone is using safe they select which switch they want it assigned to. Consider going to www.pilotryanmedia.com and clicking your favorite brands when you go shopping. It earns us commissions which are helpful.👊

      @@PilotRyanMedia Thank you...... I actually finally figured out that when I bound it with SAFE enabled I didn't realize it was active, so when SAFE is active it is part of the programming .... once I assigned SAFE to a switch and turned it off it was normal again.... this new tech is crazy. Thank you for your response !! LOVE this plane and cant wait to fly it!

      Tim Vanasen 1200mm is like 48 inch wingspan and 1500 is 59 inches in wingspan. The 1.2 does not have the telemetry but does have safe select. Definitely click through the links in my description to check it out. If you’re newer to flying I’d be looking at the 1.2 Trojan or 1.2 Mustang
