    So mine is predominantly behind the right eye, upper inside corner. But every so often switches to the left side, it's rare but way worse. I do have neck and back problems. But the headaches happen in response to many things: stress, not eating soon enough, not getting enough sleep, PMS, seasonal allergies, etc.

    You know what's crazy once you said it's usually the neck that causes the refered pain, I laid back and messagesd thee muscles around my vertebrae for a few seconds and it was already feeling better. Literally in seconds! Crazy. Thank you.

    I have many attacks where I get that pain behind the eyes, some times getting my chiro to crack my neck helps. Other times I need a bag of frozen peas in a tea towel to put against them to get them to settle down. My chiropractor has also told me to get a migraine liquid that you roll on your temples and the back of you neck - that can help a bit too. I’ve also bought a migraine roller which has lavender oil and I do the same. I’ve been reading up on this issue and it can also be dry eyes, so keep your eyes moist - I suffer from not having enough fatty oils in my eyes too.

    Hi, I had a strange headache from the left side again. It happened many times in the past that I thought is a low blood pressure. Last one was triggered by side sleeping I think it came from the neck being slightly bended while sleeping (but I always sleep like that without any problems). Other times I had the exact same headache triggered by overfed stomach after party or BBQ. When I feel its coming it starts like - there's a pain in my left eye, when I try and roll my eyes on the left the left side of my head receives a sharp pain, I feel extremely tired and I'm yawning every 30 seconds plus runny nose, can't eat anything cause I feel I'm gonna throw up and I do throw up even if I'm not eating anything but that's later when it gets worse, I can't lie down to sleep cause the pain does not allow me to sleep its like someone's trying to take my left eye out using spoon, I cannot deep breathing (only short - no difficulties). Painkillers don't help much but one thing do always help and its being outside walking or taking a bus ride. As soon as I start breathing fresh air outside or the bus is moving and shaking me inside I get better to the point that the pain entirely disappears. But its an awful pain, can't even describe it. Its something I really don't want to experience again but it keeps coming once in 4-5 months sometimes a year. What triggers it and what is this exactly?

      Do not see a chiropractor. They can make it worse in the long term. The following is not medical advice and I am not a doctor.
      I get a lot of these same issues from erratic blood pressure and postural issues. That's why standing up, which changes how BP is processed, sometimes works. Sometimes the trigger is dehydration; sometimes it's from pain elsewhere making the body flip out. The pressure being so ... I can't describe it. Like if I breathe deep, I'll vom1t but shallow breath is fine, can't eat, even if I wasn't nauseous it's like there isn't room in my chest? And of course, if BP is messed up, what triggers many headaches?
      A cardiologist is the closest doc, neurologist is second. Electrolyte water or eating more fruit helps the body know what to do with fluids. Caffeine can make it worse. If you are able to, make notes when the attacks happen: what you did that day, ate/drank in 24 hours, what brings it on or what you were doing, how long did the episode last, what made it better, etc. Email it to yourself for time stamps so you don't lose them.

      @@dlm4708 Thanks for the advices. I just had it yesterday again. Just lied on my bed in front of the laptop watching videos and it triggered by (what I think it is most of the time) bended neck on two pillows. Left eye started to slightly hurt then in one hour it was nightmarishly bad. Couldn't lie down as when I do vomiting is coming, when I apply pressure on my eyebrow and hold the pressure its getting better for 5 minutes then its getting extremely bad again. But I did found something that neutralizes it pretty quickly but its not easy to do! If I'm distracted by something else... I mean start thinking about something while I'm sitting or standing it slowly goes away, but as soon as I start thinking about it again, the extreme pain is coming back! That's why if I go out, breath some air, ride on a bus or walking and turning attention to different things pain starting to disappear! But if I curl up in my bed thinking only about the pain and how to stop it its getting very very bad by the minute! Oh, and I have slightly low blood pressure so I doubt that's what causing it. I'm drinking coffee and a drink called Ayran which are rising the blood pressure but never helps with this kind of major pain!

      @dlm4708 Před rokem +1

      @@lemonacidrounds7293 Low blood pressure can actually be just as bad as high blood pressure, just in different ways. So I'd see if it's actually "low" (you can do this with an OTC monitor like Omron) or if it's in a normal range. "Not high" isn't "low," although some people think it is. Low BP can cause headaches on it's own, depending on posture and how much water you've had.
      BUT thinking about it and focusing on it (which... you can't help when it happens???) can make it feel worse. You pay attention more to the *ways* everything feels worse, so you notice it more. Change up the pillows and also think about the firmness of pillows you need. Set a timer when you're laying down and do some quick stretches now and then- just like someone who's in an office chair all day. It can reset how you feel and prevent the problem to begin with. I'd... be doing that right now... but I have a sleeping cat on my lap. You know how it is. :P

    I have never experiencef headaches or migraines in my life. After my first upper right wisdom tooth removal, I had them every week, almost everyday, now every month. I still have other impacted teeth. Can it be from a tooth removal? Or might I have not enough space in my mouth? My eye pressure was abit elevated but the pain behind it is the worst. No idea if its also hormonal. Hard to get answers.

      Hi, thank you for commenting! I'm sorry to hear of the pain you are suffering with. It is quite common for headaches to occur after a tooth surgery... it may be a good idea to have your neck and jaw assessed to see where the cause of your migraines are coming from.
