That's how I'd roll. '70 quad lights score a 10 in my book. I would pay for the conversion on day 1 of ownership to get the look of the 1970.

Satin black (semi-gloss), not flat. I like it. A little rough but decent driver quality car. One you can drive and enjoy without worry. I think cars like this are more fun than a fancy paint perfectly restored car.
It had a '70 nose and back bumper though so somebody changed it or it is not a '71.

They put stiff springs in the front so the weight doesn't shift at the strip. Car sounds great and looks awesome, not perfect but really nice

It’s a 1970 because the 71. Did not have dual headlights? They didn’t have the marker lights in the front fender and it had round brake lights in the back not the square.

Though there's a overlap from 1971 to 1972 because of a strike at GMS Chevelle plant. I don't think that applies to 70,71.

I don’t think you need wipers in that car , and some of the others that didn’t have wipers , you obviously aren’t gonna be driving it in the rain , too much power to end up in the ditch over. It’s sad to see some of these newer cars ending up in the side of the wall or off into the ditch just because they have too much power and drive in the rain , or because they just don’t know how to handle that much power. So this one being older , definitely doesn’t need to be driven in the rain.
This is one of the most awesome cars I’ve seen on your channel.

Can someone explain to me why this car is 31K? Seems like a whole lot of custom crap that most people wouldn't want buying a car like this. Not that it's bad, amazing looking and sounding engine, but the entire inside of the car looks like a nightmare to fix and make a rod? And the paint job isn't amazing, though I think it's nice. Maybe I'm just ignorant to what people want for their interior?
