Hi Dawn! I find relationship origin stories very interesting, especially when long marriages result. Yours is funny and sweet! My husband and I met in grad school. I noticed him sitting a row and a seat closer to me each class, until he asked me out the last day of the quarter- in case I said no, so he wouldn’t have to see me in humiliation in class everyday, haha!
I noticed your eyeshadow the minute your video began and love the look! I’m very partial to violets and I decided to get the amethyst palette and coquette lipstick as a birthday present to myself. Macy’s sent me a birthday bonus, but then they had an even better sale going on, so that’s how I justified yet another purple eye palette!

Hi Dawn! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful story! It is so romantic and unique; I absolutely loved listening about you and your husband first date and how your relationship development! It is just very special and have a happy ending for everyone in the story! Almost like a fairytale 😊! I love Lancome and this brand skin care is so well formulated! The only issue I have been experiencing is with some Lancome eyeshadows; especially purple or pink colors - they irritate my eyelids; but it’s not just Lancome - just about every brand gave me the same reaction on my eyelids. I love Lancome complexion products; stick foundation is a staple for me; also the concealers; powders; all lip products ( love lip liners, lipsticks and lip glosses). I enjoy summer weather in Chicago as well- just gorgeous outside! You look so pretty, Dawn! Beautiful look! 😊

I love love love Lancôme it’s my favourite brand . Whenever I have a function I always use my Lancôme makeup for some reason it’s my classic. So excited. Just picked up the Tarte mini of the tubing mascara at Ulta. Also they had the Lancome Mars lip so I bought that as well!!
I’m so glad you found Mars. I realized Lancôme changed the name to Cream de Marron. Whew 😅 I was so worried it had been discontinued! I hope you love both of your new products, Gabby!!!🌸

Yes Dawn. That confused me. The product and its box had the new name but the display had the name Mars underneath with rhe boxes behind it. Wonder why they changed the name!

Oh Dawn, I loved hearing your story about how you guys met and got together. One time I was doing private duty nursing in a hospital. I was very young and a resident came in and spoke with me and later sent me a postcard or two from his travels in Europe. But, nothing ever came of that!! I later found out he did that with most of the young girls. Oh well. I’m happy to have found my one and only. That makeup look is great. I love the purples as a redhead. I have to tell you I am loving my little Kate Spade purse. It is perfect!!!

Hi Dawn, thank you for mentioning the sale at Lancome! The best deals on Genifique were sold out unfortunately, so I bought the $45 bag set & foundation stick yesterday. The old foundation I wear is 215N Buff, so I ordered the 210N Buff stick; I hope it matches. The palette is pretty, love the colors! I love Lancome makeup & skincare but not any of their fragrances. Their brand prices have risen too much and I have not purchased from them unless I get a good sale. You have a beautiful & blessed love story; thanks for sharing. :))

I miss when UD palettes came with brushes! I was a nurse for 12 years. I still renew my license every two years, just in case! I hope you are having a wonderful week!!!🌸💕
