When I hear this Bobby-Hackett-inspired trumpet solo I close my eyes and dream that my wife is caressing me. All of these guys are excellent. But boys, where are your manners? The lady with the guitar behind you is standing. Somebody get up and offer her a seat!

I don't know anything about trumpets or clarinets, but I play a trombone, and I appreciate the fine tone of your T-bone player. And he HOLDS the horn right -- straight out... Good job, guys.
I've heard Mike Pittsley at the Bix Beiderbecke Festival several times with the Jim Cullum Jazz Band. He's REALLY good!

When things are THIS Good~~you just wish everyone could have two full choruses--including Marty and Katie! Everyone is so beautifully in synch--! I remember a great album in the 50's was reviewed with the phrase "Effortless Summit Meeting." Of course we are grateful for what we have... is that Bobby Hackett, Peanuts Hucko, and Bob Havens smiling by the bar in the back of the room?
