    Yes the Omron and Yaskawa servos are similar. To turn 90 degrees would require a pulse train output.

    Hi I have an "omron sgdh 04ae oy" and a "sgmah 04AAA61D OY"
    I'm thinking the controller is quite similar to this. I took these of a machine we no longer use is I was planning on doing a factory reset.
    Is my thinking correct? If so how easy is it to set this up so when it receives a 24v signal from another source the motor turns 90 degrees?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I'd to to ask how to reset A.93 alarm display on SGDH 4 OY,
    the alarm come out when last time i did take out and unplugged the battery connection from Servopack to cek the Battery voltages remain.after that installed the Battery to Servopack again. In this time the A.93 display on monitor Servopack. So ia it nesaary to do Fan.008 procedure or just to turn the Servopack power OFF and than back ON again?
    Thank you so much.

    • @tomh2466
      @tomh2466  Před 2 lety

      The A.93 is a warning not an alarm. The times that you will normally see this is when the battery voltage is low or there is no battery installed at all when you're using an absolute encoder.
      However if this alarm persists you could have a loose connection or possibly a bad board on the drive.
      But normally this alarm usually does not effect the operation of the servo drive.

      @tomh2466  Před rokem

      Kmetovity Levente,
      Following this video you will reset all the Servo Pack parameters (PN) back to factory default settings. The FN are functions, and UN are monitoring, these are not changed. However if you are looking for your specific machine parameters settings, the only help I can give on that is sometimes the machines manufactures will include these parameters on schematics, or other machine documentation. your own company should have these parameters either in the machine documentation files or on a computer where you will need the SigmaWin+ software.
      Hope This Helps

      First the .bb is called BASE BLOCK. Consider the servo pack divided into 2 parts, THE LOGIC SECTION and THE POWER SECTION. In .bb if your motor has no brake you will be able to turn the shaft easily, in Run the shaft will be held in place. So what you need is the /S-ON signal this enables the power section. If you follow the link below and on page 55 you will find the wiring diagram . Here focus on the wiring, Power and Servo On,
      file:///C:/Users/D837186/Downloads/YEA-SIA-S800-32.2%20(8).pdf
      To place the servo pack in RUN you will need to enable

      If you go to the link below I show how to connect using Sigmawin software. From there after on line go to parameters --> Edit Parameters --> and click a window pops up that starts to load the parameters from the servo to the window. At the top left of the popup you can save the parameters from the old servo by clicking the floppy disk.
      To write the parameters to the new servo use the same procedure for saving the parameters except instead of clicking on the floppy in the top left, click "Write" to download the parameters to the servo amplifier.

      Hello Fajar
      Heres the explanation from the manual for A.F6 alarm.
      Motor disconnected. The detected torque is less than 10% of commanded torque reference.
      When in BB state, an A.F6 or A.b3 may be generated instead. Applicable to Renewal models (Firmware Ver. 32 or higher) over 1 kW.
      First I would check and verify the power cable is connected and the connector is tight. Also if you are using a contactor between the power supplied (high voltage) and the servo pack verify power to L1, L2& L3. Also if the main power connector to the servo motor was turned (to adjust orientation of the plug) the wiring for the power connector may have broken free and no longer attached to the motor. So check the cable connections and wiring to plug on motoretc... Lastly bad servo pack.
      Hope This Helps

      @tomh2466  Před 4 lety

      Hello Fernando Galvão
      This A.b1 is a Reference input Analog/Digital converter error. A/D result unstable Error. First off options here are very limited in over 10 years I have only seen this alarm 3x. First you need to determine when this is happening (at power up / during operation). If its happening during power up you will need to replace the servo pack (bad 1PWB Circuit board). Now I am assuming that you have probably reset the fault several times, if happening during operation, I would start by checking the reference (use scopemeter) speed and or torque reference. Next the A/D converter could be bad, replace servo pack.
      Reference input A/D converter error. A/D result unstable. Applicable to Renewal models (Firmware Ver. 32 or higher) only

      Good Morning, sentamilkumar
      The alarm A.CC is a encoder multi-turn limit value does not
      match with that of the servo amplifier.
      Now what can cause this alarm, was the amplifier or servo motor replaced?
      "Incorrectly set Multi-Turn Limit
      , Change the value in parameter
      Pn205 setting in the
      servo amplifier.
      No Multi-Turn Limit value set in
      the encoder.
      First verify that the Multi-Turn
      Limit Setting parameter (Pn205)
      is set correctly in the servo amplifier.
      While in the active alarm
      state, change the setting in the
      encoder Multi-Turn Limit Setting
      parameter (Pn205) using function
      Fn013."

      The A.84 alarm for Sigma 2 Servo is an encoder data error alarm. This alarm is for both absolute and incremental encoders, and its meaning depends on the type of encoder.
      Absolute encoders
      At power up encoder is malfunctioning and replacement may be necessary.
      If this alarm appears during motor operation, it could be caused by external electrical noise.
      Incremental encoder
      During operation or at power on (intermittently or static), most commonly system vibration should be examined. Excessive vibration (exceeding motor specifications)
      Most common causes,
      - Excessive Mechanical Vibration
      - Excessive Electrical Noise

    • @tomh2466
      @tomh2466  Před 6 lety

      Hello Quoc
      The A.81 alarm is an encoder backup alarm, a few things that could be the cause,
      Power was turned off to the servo pack and the battery back up for the absolute encoder is either missing or low.
      (replace battery)
      The cable for the encoder has been disconnected from the motor. (if possible keep from disconnecting cable)
      Check for any breaks or shorts in the encoder cable. (replace encoder cable)
      Check plugs on encoder cable ensure no pins are bent on motor side of connector. (replace defective part)
      Absolute encoder has malfunctioned. (change motor)
      Bad Circuit board on amplifier.(change amplifier)
      There is also a possibility of noise being introduced into the cable (close to high voltage or improperly grounded),
      (in this case reroute the cables away from high voltage and properly ground cable).
      After correcting problem an Absolute Encoder Setup will be required.
      But here is the link to the video czcams.com/video/VVXp6NwhtVc/video.html

      bb is not an error, this is actually called "base block" at this point the servo amplifier is ready (but there is no power applied from the power section of the amplifier to the motor ) and awaiting a Run signal. But iF an absolute encoder is being used, the servo will not turn ON when the servo ON signal (/S-ON) unless the SEN signal is also ON.

    Help me,,please

    • @tomh2466
      @tomh2466  Před 2 lety +1

      trieu phan,
      First things first:
      1. Check voltage to Servo Pack.
      2. Clear alarm history, and start process again. If fault persists check history again. This alarm could be the result of another problem.
      3. Check Servo Pack and motor for overheating.
      4. Check for possible breaks or damage in power and or encoder cables.
      5. Also if possible check voltage to motor and ensure there is no voltage imbalance between phases.
      6. Check and verify Parameters (if replacement of drive or any changes to parameters).
      NEXT:
      The A.71 is an Overload issue.
      First we need to determine when this is happening.
      If during power-up this is usually a servo pack issue.
      REPLACE SERVO PACK.
      If just after starting process.
      Check for noise coming from servo motor such as grinding (possible bad bearings) scraping, possible brake issue.
      1. Check and verify voltage to motor Holding Brake (24vdc, 90vdc).
      2. Check Holding Brake coil resistance, should be around 24vdc usually below 200ohms or 90vdc usually greater than 300ohms also meg brake for short to ground.
      3. If able LOCK-OUT MACHINE and uncouple the motor from process and apply voltage to Holding Brake coil (usually 24vdc) and rotate motor shaft. If any resistance, brake could be broken and or sticking.
      4. Holding Brake Relay is connected to terminals Bk+ & Bk- through CN1 Connector to servo pack (this relay provides the 24vdc or 90vdc to the Holding Brake coil). Verify operation of this relay as a chattering coil could also cause this alarm.
      During Operation:
      This is probably going to be a mechanical issue with the process. Check for mechanical binding, anything that could be rubbing, wobbling etc… Next if coupled to gearbox (check for noise, heat check for proper fluid level.
      Possible issues here:
      1. Oil low, contaminated etc…
      2. Bad bearings
      3. Internal damage to gearing shafts etc…
      If any of the above issues present replace or repair.
      Hope This Helps
      Tom

      @tomh2466  Před 2 lety

      Hello Yava,
      The simple answer is CN1.40 must be at zero volts. The link below is the users manual, p.112 will give some info on the wiring.
      www.yaskawa.com/delegate/getAttachment?documentId=YEA-SIA-S800-32.2&cmd=documents&documentName=YEA-SIA-S800-32.2.pdf
      There will be a contact from a switch, relay, etc... Normally this will be connected to the E-Stop Circuit.
      The "bb" is called Base Block. Looking at a servo drive as being split into 2 sections, the logic and power sections. While in .bb the power section is not powering the servo motor and if the motor has no brake you will be able to rotate the shaft.
      In Run mode the power section applies power to the servo motor this locks the motor in place while it awaits a signal to move.
      Hope This Helps
