I can relate to few of your experiences and i completely believe in Long term investing but at same time have seen phases like Jet Airways company shut down and stock of 280 went to 28 , DHFL closed and money's off, Also fell into fake news of stock on telegram and mistakenly bought an IT stock like Take solutions, Bought ar 72 which is now at 21 and also Bought Bharat Biotech at 64 which went to 95 and now at 30.
But at same time bought Tata power at 62 in covid, sold at 102 and now 400+ , Bought HUL at 2000 and sold at 2600 or bought tata motors at average 480 and now at 1000. Once again thanks for sharing the diff between Direct and Regular investing on Mutual fund which was not known to me and completely agree on story of IPO listing /exiting on listing date for quick profits and then looking to enter after 7-8 months of their listing.
