I bought mine in 2012 and used them on my deployment and they still work, best sounding headphones I ever used. The comfort issue goes away after using them for the bit because they bad and muffs get broken in. If you read the reviews a lot of people say the same thing that after a while there’s issue with discomfort
Ive had the v-moda m100 for over 5 years now, best sounding headphones ive had ever. They are made for music, professional dj use them. The comfort is ok for me, i agree they can be abit heavy but thTs because their made out of metal rather than plastic which is lighter. The sound for gaming is great also, however, because their not intentionally made for gaming you have no volume control built into wire or headset so all controls are via your pc or console which can be a pain . The boom mic pro you can buy for these is fantastic mic, better than many of the gaming headsets ive used.
I stumbled upon a used pair for only $29.99 at this place, called Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro, Alabama. I'd never heard any V-Modas, but know about them. I have the Sennheiser 58x Jubilee, Philips SHP9500 and the Razer Nari Ultimate. However, the LP2 has SUPERB sound. Perhaps, might have the best sound for a closed-backs. The bass is on point. The soundstage is great. Sibilance is non-existent. It sucks these aren't a good fit for you. Damn! These sound good.
@@StreamGearTalk The fit doesn't bother me. I finally, used this, while playing MW. Got shot by a sniper. Felt the impact. Lol Btw, I bought the replacement pads. Not that the originals bother me. The replacements seem to be better.
@@youdontseeanoldmanhavinatw4904 thank you for response. Is it better sounding and better build quality compared to lp2.? Iam using 7 years old lp2 and still in a great shape
vmoda lp2 or beyerdynamic tygr 300 or beyerdynamic 800x or shure 840a .pls tell me which is best sounding for listening songs only and gaming out of these . im not able to judge and decide
I just scored an unopened box from a local thrift store for $20 and I gotta say, they're definitely better. Probably the best sound quality I've ever experienced all-around.
Nope. They broke apart too easily. Get a more durable pair like DT770 or something. There are small cheap plastic covers on the inside that just crumble from light use, and the headband peals and flakes away very quickly from light use. Too many small weakpoints on these headphones for the price.
I have a set of vmodas that I use for djing... they've been through hell and back and still look brand new. sounds like you're "light use" is different than most
@@SUBtrauma For comparison, I have a pair of Sennheiser HD500's that are in near mint condition. Those are how old? Definitely not rough on my headphones.
Excuse me, I've had a 7 years old LP2, iam not babying it, its my EDC, its working perfectly until today like brand new, of course the provided leatherette pads and band pad peel off in time but the rest no single complain especially the overall build quality. For m100 yes I've seen lot of them falling apart in year or two especially the jack ports and slightly loosing the hinges "click" and the paint scratches here and there.

yes comfort is the #1 priority
AGREED!
The band is designed to be flexed and molded. Loosen it by holding it flexed out for a while. Works best when it's warm.

The fit broke my heart because otherwise the sound is amazing!!!

Yea the replacements definitely helped the comfort and fit of the headset
@@StreamGearTalk I also, ordered a headband cover. Did you end up keeping them. I read you can stretch them, which can loosen the tension.
Been using vmoda for gaming for years now. Great headphones.

V moda crossfade lp2 or bayer dt770 ? Which one should i go for...
770. The LP2 just doesn't last with regular usage. They were my first high end headphones and started crumbling in under a year.
Great video bro
Thanks a lot man!
GNR Frank my wife ordered me the a10s she surprised me so yesssss
What do you think is better the hyperx cloud core or the razer kraken pro v2
For sound the razer. For mic the hyperx. But overall the hyperx
