    I realized something while watching this today...Chad was the ringleader. I think Lori was muderous before she met Chad, and so was he. They are both liars, defrauders, grifters, and
    murderers. I think Chad is aware that he is a fake, but Lori does not have that self-awareness. Evil met Evil the day that day at the Book Sale table.

    • @dluelmo
      @dluelmo Před 26 dny

      One thing I realized while watching this trial, is that Chad already was trying to set himself up as a profit BEFORE he met Lorrie. His family believed him, which is one of the reasons Tammy supported the book publishing business, and why his kids did not question the death of their mother. Chad (and Lorrie) would be disquaified as spirital leaders by their community if they were divorced. So it wasn't just about the money (in the case of Charles and Tammy). Even if there was no life insurance, their days would have been numbered. Lorrie had benefitted from her first husband's death, and this was an inspiration to max out Tammy's life insurance, and kill Charles before the divorce went through. The death of the kids was mainly for the money. Alarmingly Chad had inquired about life insurance on one of his kids (Mark?) after his marriage to Lorrie. I wonder if they had intended to do away with him as well?

How does he think he is going to beat these charges, particularly after Lori’s disastrous loss at trial? Only difference is she chose not to blame him and he is totally blaming her. 😆The problem for Chad with is that absolutely EVERYBODY can see straight through his crazy bs and can see him for the pathetic, deceitful, murdering grub that he is. You have to think that the only winner here will be Prior (being the owner of a new property in Rexburg). Prior had no reason to remind Chad of any advantage to pleading guilty. It’s hard to imagine Prior, in his first dp case, with no favourable evidence, would be confident of winning this trial. Melanie P. definitely got the better end of the deal if it’s true she got immunity for her testimony. If so, I wonder if prosecutors are kicking themselves?

      @WolvesinFrance Před 27 dny +1

      If she's wangled immunity, that in itself is a crime IMHO. She and hubby bubby know tonnes bc she still 'believes' and Ian IMHO is a liar bc wife would have definitely told him EVERYTHING 😉😉

    Some of Ians answers.... when he says he had heard of removing curses..... I feel some clarification should be made that things referred to in scriptures, similar to "Have you ever heard of prophets parting a sea???" And the answer would be yes. She should follow up with another question to clarify these things are not things that happen in todays modern day. Right now if a church leader said he was going to part the red sea we would think they were a wacko

    What is on the usb Chad keeps loading and dipping his laptop when seems to feel others can see his screen. He is in jail, should not have unsupervised access to laptop in first place imho.

    "..... but also leaving them in the care of your trusted family members". He also really focuses on pointing out their children will be apart from you. Wow. Then trying to manipulate Ian by saying he has great power??? Gag. I am trying to give Ian a bit of a pass because by this point he knew it was wacky. But not sure if that compensates for his stupidity in marrying Melanie so fast.
    For anyone who is not LDS.... this blessing is so wacked and pure evil.

    If you watch Harvard Lawyer Lee's interview with Adam Cox (Lori's other brother) and her uncle Rex, they say that Alex was found with the same pink foam coming out of his mouth.... Whatever way Prior wants to spin it, if only the prosecution were allowed to make that connection, I think that would have connected a lot more for the jury

    A family that kills together stays together. None of them had any common sense whatsoever to believe this BS. Zombies, light and dark, this isn’t a movie. This is real life, and they were buying into it. As for prior, sadly even monsters are entitled to a defense. I see a lot of people hate Prior, but he is a good defense attorney, he isn’t just sitting there. He’s getting up. He’s making objections. I’ve seen a lot of defense attorneys just sit there for a paycheck and not really do much of anything, unfortunately he is defending a monster, but like I said, every monster is entitled to a defense. In the end, we all know Chad is going to be convicted, and Prior is only working with what he has and it’s not much. Ask for Melani, at minimum they should’ve charged her with something, not exchange her testimony for her freedom. They still could’ve charged her with something.!
