I once started a mission with a stratagem tower and a ship fabricator next to each other.
The smoke, grenades for the tower and eagle or orbital for the gun ship fab are really damn good in that situation. Saturate the tower with smoke grenades for cover to shut it down with relatively little opposition. And make the gunships not see you when calling and activating a hellbomb.
Dude HMG is so underated, people dont wanna do it cuz u can be "surrounded" but the front of the HMG blocks attacks, and makes enemies attack u less for some reason, mabye cuz of line of sight being broken up at times
not only u can stim, ur literly imuume to staggering while ur on it cuz u die first then the HMG anyway and u cannot be trown off otherwise (or team mate blows u up lol). but u can just stim through everything else, and u shred through everything else. Stim duration armor is crazy on that one.
except chargers and bile titans, u got to run away from those for obvious reasons. u want heavy artillery on your support weaps in those cases.
main issue is that it makes you stationary for extended periods of time. I use it in missions where you need to be in a spot for an extended period of time anyway, but more often than not you want to keep moving.
@@sinteleon Actually i just usully drop it in front of a big base im about to attack, it helps avoid getting overwhelemed and be able to kill more then spawns come in so u dont fight like headless chicken for minutes to pass. its als ogod to fall back to if more enemies then u expect arive or take down the escort group that almost guarenteers to spawn when u hit a base. bit cheap use but i also just drop it down clearing patrolling mobs, if u kill quick it also avoids them spawning in reinferocements if u hit hard enough. but yeah some missions u dont tend to use it all that much cuz u want to get full optimimal use out of it
