How to decrease air pollution and recharge groundwater?

- Creating small ponds is one of the best ways to decrease air pollution and recharge groundwater. Since natural rains have decreased, it is essential to create small man-made water bodies. Every school, college, office complex, society should have them. They don't involve big technology. The space for the ponds just needs to be dug out. And it is much more effective in cleaning the air than buying expensive air purifying machines.
Give Me Trees Trust has planted more than 20 million trees all across the country. It was founded by Peepal Baba, who is one of the most renowned environmentalists in the country. Give Me Trees has more than 7000 volunteers throughout the country.

but i have a doubt: how can we tackle mosquito thriving in those small ponds without fishes or frogs?
We should build the water body enough large so as to have some fishes and other pond species to thrive in it..
They will clear the mosquito eggs..

Put some gappi named fish
Gutter guppy fish can be released in ponds. This fish is very cheap and multiples very easily. Not a single mosquito can breed in ponds wit Guppies.

Sir my question is that for example in punjab,hayana,,north rajasthan ,eheat waves moves from south to north in india,,if we seal border of these states with trees wall of width nearly 5 km,,can heat wave will reduce in these states

Won't these ponds lead to breeding of mostiquos as the water would remain stagnant?
It will create mosquito problem
Release dragon flies in the area. They eat the mosquito larva. Plus when trees grow and birds come they will eat the mosquitoes.
We will have to do it even if there is mosquito problem to make it beneficial to us in long term.
