    Having used both, the Dreamware is much better in may regards, the Gel pillows fit much better vs Resmed, the later being to much flexibility to them. , the material on the Dreamware is also softer, and the swivel on the top for Resmed is nowhere near as good as the Dreamware.

    I love the P30i headgear and general design, but I hate the silicone nasal pillows. Both Large and Medium (which I usually use) tend to have little leaks. If they had a Medium Gel Nasal Pillow for the P30i, it would be such an amazing mask. Do they make one?

      Unfortunately ResMed has yet to create a Gel cushion for the P30i, only the Philips DreamWear Gel pillow has a similar design with the Gel Available. However, if you are experiencing mask leaks around the cushion, a mask liner may be of help. For example if you tried the Remzzzs mask liners you would need model 7A-NPK. They can be found here: www.respshop.com/cpap-supplies/comfort-cleaning/remzzzs-cpap-mask-liners-day-supply-p-398.html

    The P30i nasal Cushions are uncomfortable. It feels like 2 knuckles are up your nose and it’s sharp edges that cut inside your nostrils.

      Thanks for sharing! Have you tried the DreamWear Silicone Nasal Pillow Mask? It's the newer version of the DreamWear Gel Pillow Mask.

    If you wore both systems disconnected from the CPAP machine is there a difference in the air flow? I have the dreamwear and I feel like I'm suffocating. I don't think it is the air pressure but the volume of air coming through.

      Hello, Both of these CPAP masks are almost exactly the same ( as they use the same frame). That said, if you feel like you are suffocating it could be a number of things:
      1. The surface area of the masks design could not be large enough to defuse the air pressure you have. If this is the case I would recommend getting a full face mask instead. This is likely the case if you have a higher pressure setting.
      2. As you mentioned, it could be the air pressure. If has been a number of years since your last sleep study I would check back with your doctor as your pressure can change over time. However, if you are just new to therapy it could not also mean that your Doctor needs to re-evaluate your settings. That said, if neither of these are true and your CPAP seems to work fine with another mask, it likely is not your air pressure as you said.
      3. Finally it could be that your ramp is turned on. Again, this relates to air pressure, but if you have your ramp at 4 or 5cm it can sometimes feel like there is not enough air. However, if this is not your first mask, again, it is likely not the air pressure.

    Title says P30i- she keeps saying N30i.... which is it?

      Hello Nate, We apologize as when this video was created, it's creator was still very new to video editing and did not check for quality. She does mean the P30i as that is the nasal pillow version of the ResMed Mask. However, there is a mask that is VERY similar called the N30i that is a Nasal Mask. We hope this has cleared any confusion.

    Are the 2 pillows interchangeable?

    • @RespShop
      @RespShop  Před 2 lety +1

      No they are not. The P30i pillows are interchangeable with the ResMed N30i and the Dreamwear Gel Piilows interchaneable with the dreamwear nasal cushion. Feel free to call us at 866 936 3754 for more info.
