In this video I install an intake horn from Crazy Carl Turbos on my 2007 5.9 Cummins and do some maintenance on the truck. Airdog filter change and oil change.
Yeah most air horns are 3" diameter. Where as the banks has a 3.5" and comes with a bigger charge tube. However even on the website it says 1.23 lbs of boost over stock.... id buy it for the look but yeah its not a big gain especially for the cost
My girlfriends truck was bought used and the previous owner had installed a 6.7 manifold and intake horn. It is way larger flow capacity than the 5.9 intake.
I would discount the fuel line at your cp3 pump and then cycle the ignition a few times without starting the truck till you get fuel coming out. That’s if you have an aftermarket lift pump like an airdog or fass
Not really that much bigger on a 5.9 and with a stock head and especially with a grid heater you could have one 5 times bigger and wouldn’t gain anything
Banks ones look nice but 5 times the price for no performance gains. Especially on a lower horsepower truck, maybe see a difference on a 1500+ horsepower truck
Good advice thanks for sharing
man i can't wait till i have a dyno , i want to test some stuff lol, good video
I can’t wait till you get one too, I like seeing the comparison videos. See what does and doesn’t work and what’s worth doing
I replaced my spin on fuel filter in the undercarriage and I think it got air in the system.

So other then looking nicer did u notice any difference at all with that intake
I can’t say I noticed any difference with it, I just changed it cause my stock one was cracked
@boosthuntergarage I put it on no real noticeable change but looks nice an I would imagine it flows a Lil easier
Do you have to emisson test where yu are? Will this mod affect emissions?
No I do not have emissions testing where I live and this mod shouldn’t affect your emissions if anything it should make it better
The banks are emissions compliant.
Hi there, which line did you disconnected to bleed the fuel system?

The supply line to your cp3 coming from your lift pump
ya bought cheap ya should have bought the gayle banks intake its much bigger

@@boosthuntergarageGale Banks blew the head myth out of the water.
That's a tiny one. Get banks
