LEARN HOW TO MAKE AN EASY + QUICK ONE PAN TOMATO SPAGHETTI PASTA RECIPE RIGHT AT HOME!
LAY HO MA! This velvety tomato pasta is definitely a home run in flavour and in the easy department. Join me in this episode and learn how to make a delicious tomato spaghetti recipe all in one pan. Let's begin
    Ingredients:
    3 pieces garlic
    1 onion
    75g oyster mushrooms
    2 tbsp olive oil
    salt + pepper to taste
    2 tbsp capers
    1 tsp oregano
    1 tsp sweet paprika
    800g puréed tomatoes
    2 cups vegetable stock
    1/2 lb spaghetti
    few leaves basil
    Directions:
    1. Roughly chop the garlic and oyster mushrooms. Finely chop the onion
    2. Heat up a sauté pan to medium heat and add the olive oil. Add the onions, garlic, salt and pepper. Sauté for 2-3min
    3. Add the capers, oregano, and sweet paprika. Sauté for about a minute
    4. Add the oyster mushrooms and the puréed tomatoes. Add the vegetable stock and turn the heat up to bring to a boil
    5. Place in the spaghetti and gently stir around until the noodles are completely submerged. Once the spaghetti is completely covered, stir for a couple of minutes. Then, cover and cook on medium low for about 8min
    6. Plate the pasta and garnish freshly cracked pepper, olive oil, and freshly chopped basil

However, I eat more plant based than ever before, mostly due to this channel. Sometimes I just watch because of the pleasant, calm approach and style you have. I like even just hearing your stove fire up. Anyway, tbank you fir the continually fantastic content! Be well!

I made my dinner inspired by this. I added some sunflower seeds in the beginning to for some extra protein, crunch and nutty flavour + didn't have capers so balsamic vinegar instead for acidity. I also added a pinch of sugar plus some other small changes like chili flakes instead of black pepper but this was really yummy and easy.

Just wanted to comment...I subscribed & have been enjoying your videos for some weeks now. I really enjoy the calm, artistic flow of them, as well as coming to trust that there'll be no animal product "surprises". My husband & I have been cooking plant based/vegan (at home & in restaurants) for 35 years or so, but find many of your recipes inspiring. This was a very nice one; I love the chiffonade of basil to garnish & am so much more motivated to grow oyster mushrooms! Thanks for your efforts.

I never knew you could cook pasta IN the sauce - this is a game changer! Thank you so much for this recipe. I love mushrooms and pasta is nice & cheap, and delicious (AND you don't have to peel, chop or prep it in any way) and it cooks quite quickly which is great when you're hungry already. This recipe is going to become a staple - yum!

My mother cooked thin walled pastas in a sauce quite often. Mom made huge quantities of food and sometimes the pasta became overcooked if not timed correctly. My guys like pasta with a bite. Sometimes I have to prepare 24 oz. I am not confidant that this method would work for us. In smaller portions it would be wonderful!!

Mr Wil is better imho, no ego (and great jokes), but of course totally plant based.
I love adding a bit of red wine to a red sauce. I'll maybe add 1/2 C in place of some of the veggie stock. Just a tip about that: since I like sweet red wine to drink and that doesn't work in a sauce I buy the little 4 pk of cabernet sauv in bottles and one bottle works per recipe. Otherwise if I buy a big bottle just for cooking it goes bad before I use the entire bottle.
This looks so simple and very delicious. Another score Wil!
