I'd recommend using a pressure cooker. It is fuss free, no flame and can be done within 3-5hrs. cheers!

Yes, pressure cooker will save gas consumption as just brewing over hours and hours with gas is not cost effective especially now with the recent increase cost of gas.

No! hopefully this doesnt trigger a rush for bones. have been doing a combination of pig tail + big bone 3 hours 100 degrees in pressure cooker. Added apple cider vinegar and nothing else. The final product is the closest to an elixir if there ever was one. So glossy but not greasy. Collagen, gelatin, bone marrow, soft bones, some meat on bone.

This sounds ideal in a slow cooker but a rice cooker might also be good if it doesn't have a non stick coating.

Hi. Just want to check, how long can you keep it for if you store it inside the freezer?

Not sure but I’ve used frozen stock that’s over four months old and it seemed fine to me

do you need to scrape off every single meat from the bones before washing and freezing?

I never do. Adds more flavour into the stock!
