73-87 long bed to short bed in a weekend. Part 2 finishing up.

  • Part 2 we cut and shorten the frame install a 16 gallon tank and install a short bed driveshaft before adding some fake patina on the bed.

    You have to leave the rims alone dude. Its ok if you get rid of the tires 235 /65/ R15 for the front & back 235 /50/R15

      @@rudyflores9395 they are still Tennessee orange. The tires have been changed to 265/70/15 in the back and a 235/75/15 in the front.

    What was the settings you used on that welder

      .030 solid core wire with 75/25 shielding gas. I believe I had the wire speed at about 195 and the voltage around 19-19.5 and the induction I leave at 6 for everything. I usually set the welder up with a piece of scrap from where I’ve cut out. I had a Lincoln 180 that was my grandpas and it got stolen and a 140 that i had forever and the drive motor went out. I’ve really been impressed with the titanium welder for the money. I didn’t think it would compare to my Lincoln but it has exceeded my expectations.
