I found that when tinting icons to a colour you like it doesn’t apply it properly and it just totally dims it. Tinting also completely breaks the automatic light dark option. You can’t switch between the two. You have to hard reset to get it to work. Happens on iPad too. It’ll get fixed eventually. It’s actually been very stable beta and the important stuff works. The bugs I’m getting are just ui cosmetic ones. Battery life for me has been fine.

I have this issue where if i edit my control center and then power off my phone completely it either gets rearranged or some of the icons dissapear it looks like stuff that were already in the control center like brightness, volume, focus, portrait lock, flashlight, and more arent affected whats dissapearing for me is the open app shortcut, the normal shortcut, reduce white point, ping my watch, and voice control

Heads up messages do not trigger notifications when you lock your phone. The messages themselves are fine and it doesn’t matter what your settings are at. They just do not trigger notifications for some reason.
7:37 so is the issue of audio not producing when playing podcast faster than 1x to a none Apple Bluetooth speaker fixed? When playing at the normal speed the sound is output is ok but changing the speed to anything faster then the audio drops out while the podcast continues to play.
There’s one thing you didn’t mention, and that’s to do with the iMessage effects. When you use any words, that is listed in the effects, you get an option under the word to automatically add that effect.
so we have two different messages when you go into battery because mine says “On Going Device Setup” with a shorter version of what it’s giving you but obviously means the same thing weirdly enough though i got that message days after my initial update

i waited like an hour but i am still stuck on "preparing updates". I did the restart the phone method to install it again but it still stuck idk why... my phone has a huge amount of free space storage...
Just tried ios 18, on band new iPhone 13, it’s slow and laggy compared to ios 17 it’s really noticeable. Restored back to ios 17.5.1 and the speed and snappiness is back.
The option to change between in-call voice isolation and standard mode is still missing from the third beta control center. Looks like they just might have deprecated the feature.
Latest beta randomly sends me to Home Screen. Little circle thing spins like it’s going to shut down but just throws me out of whatever app I’m in to the Home Screen and ofc have to enter passcode not Face ID
I found so many problems with beta 3. When playing pokemon go and if tab to another app the game goes mute and i have to close it and re open to have sound, also some niantic campfire app only works once and if i close it i cant use the app unless i redownload it

That definitely a great idea. If you are on the AiOS 18 beta, send a feedback to Apple requesting the feature/enhancements. They do listen. When they see many people requesting something they will find a way to incorporate into of their updates.
Has anyone been facing issues with the keyboard with regards to swipe and autocorrect working incorrectly? Correct suggestions aren’t being shown and words with apostrophe are not getting suggested either.. anyone else?

Ever since updating to Sonoma 14.5, I'll be doing activity at any given website on a tab and suddenly I can't do anything on that page any longer. Nothing I type shows, nor can i click on anything. Command R does nothing. I have to click up by the url and hit enter, or else close the tab and open another and reload the page from scratch. Anyone else been experiencing anything similar?

Just a little while ago my iphone 13 on IOS 18 beta 3 lagged and stop working, the screen froze, the power button and the volume buttons were not working, the screen went black with a little loading animation after 3 minutes, it started working again😮💨 Did this happen to anyone else
a lot of people like me don't like the iPhone animations and use the option to reduce the movement we also reduce the transparency, can you make a video trying it out, in general, for many years iPhone has not offered this feature in a very useful way. could you check it please?
just a hint for you, u dont need to press and hold for the volume and brightness slider, only tap and will open, the same for airpods toggles :D
On the volume and brightness slider you now can tap it just to open. You don’t only have to long press it.

It automatically turns on when you play a game and gives more RAM and Processing power to the game and reduces controller latency

The new beta update messed up the font for my call history. I hope they fix it soon

I've been having issues with rcs since beta 3. I can receive rcs messages but it switches to sms whenever I reply.

How do you get this Developer menu to show up? Can you do it without a Mac?
Install Xcode on your Mac and plug your iPhone in and it will automatically show up. Also turn on Developer option.

@@GavinColbourne the carrier controls whether RCS is provisioned for a device. Many carriers won’t enable it until it’s released in the fall.
