Having worked in the Hotel industry for many years I am no stranger to overnight shifts. Those 2:30 or 3:00 AM On-desk shifts really hurt for about the first half hour. But when you get into your grove its actually somewhat zen helping your guests wake up and get started with their day. They come down to the lobby all bleary eyed but you are there all fresh and polished. You show them to breakfast, give them a newspaper, check that their car service is on time. It's actually a great feeling to know that your smile was their first one of the day and hope that it helps them put their best foot forward.
That’s the same way I feel on the airplane! I LOVE greeting passengers early in the morning as they board their flight 😊 starts the day out on a hopefully positive note

Hello Julia! I used to lived in the Washington,D.C. area several years ago. I do have wonderful memories going to "The Mall" and visit the museums and monuments. I love your videos. Exploring new cities is the best thing. As soon as I got to Paris I explored the neighborhood I stayed in and went to the grocery store.

I was there with my brother in December 2011 and had a blast. Very cool place. Looks like Johnson wouldn't disappoint either. You videos sure never do. One thumbs up is hardly enough!!

I loved my trip to the Johnson Space Center back in 2014. We couldn't go into the airplane at that point in time (or I wasn't aware we could), so I guess I will have to go back some time, that looked so cool!

Thanks for sharing your visit to the Space Center. I'm 66 years old and one of my most cherished memories of growing up in the 60s was the space program, especially walking outside in July 1969, looking up at the moon, and realizing there were people walking on it. Also special was getting up early and watching the Mercury, Gemini, or Apollo space rocket launches.
I feel like a proud Mum watching your enthusiasm and joy for being back at work. The Space centre looked fantastic and so many interactive exhibits Thankyou for sharing your day with Leah. I absolutely love long layovers! When ever I travel internationally, I chose the flight and the layover city with a 8+ hour layover. I did that when I flew from Barcelona to Miami with a stop in Amsterdam and was able to explore the city. I did that with Hong Kong on the way to Sydney and Oslo, Norway on the way to Dublin.

Julia -as the airline industry is going through turbulent times if you are asked 1)to cut cost by your management with out adversely impacting customer experience ,which areas will you optimize cost ?
2) Also which planes would you like to forego from your fleet ?

I'm from the Brazos Valley maybe 2 hours from Houston, but live in Chicago now... how have I never been to the Houston Space Museum!? That place looked so cool! So glad you had a blast on this trip just a couple hours from home haha

I was in Houston working a COVID vaccination clinic during the first week of June. I went to Space Center Houston on Memorial Day because I had the day off and was visiting an uncle who works for NASA and he insisted that I go. My brother was jealous because they hadn't added the SpaceX Dragon when he was there a couple of years before.

Definitely need to check out that Shuttle Carrier at some point ! Had no idea they had one available to the public and its one of those historic planes that I wish I could have seen flying in person. Also really like the cloud cover and ocean view shots from your flights !

You need to be brave to fly in space. 38000 feet is enough for me. Although I flew Concorde years ago and it was 45000 feet. Busy trip but Luna was so pleased to see you return.
