I had an absolute blast in Amsterdam! Any other recommendations for me to do? Stay tuned for more exciting content coming soon and thanks for watching 😊
Amsterdam is great! Other recommendations are a boat tour, a trip to the windmills in Zaanse Schans, eating at Cau Argentinian Steakhouse, shopping on the Leidseplein (sp?), or if you want to venture further take the train out to the seaside town of Scheveningen. They have a boardwalk, beach, restaurants. Also there's Madurodam which is a miniature town in Den Haag.
oh, and eat all the poffjertes!
You have to do Papa Westray to Westray!!! Gotta be super fast serving drinks mind ! 😅😄
I love Amsterdam, such an amazing city, The people are really friendly, 100% Cau Argentinian steakhouse. The food is amazing.
Great memories there...the night life is wicked too.
Julia, go into olde city Philly so many cobblestone streets and drive up The Benjamin Franklin Pkwy. The most European feeling around but still in beautiful America. Climb the Art Museum steps and feel just like Rocky! Please film it. ❤ ✌🏻 To You Miss Luna and Eric. Hope your Wawa hoagie was good too. Al
Hi my name is Alfonso from Bogotá, Colombia. I've been watching your videos since may 2023. Let me tell you that you become my English teacher practicing my listening. . I'm in English class right now and my professor asked us to randomly choose any CZcamsr and you were the one. Your videos are very nice and I'm supposed to share in my class what I understand in every one of your videos. Congratulations and thanks for your help for my class.
That is awesome! Thanks for watching my videos :)
Your "English teacher" should be Hannah Barron. If you learn English it must be Southern accent. 😊
Coming from Columbia, American 'English' is more appropriate.
Hi Julia I really like all of your videos and your natural beauty in all of your videos as well in all ways too! From Lawrence.
So glad you're getting to visit more european destinations now that you're based in PHL!
Thank you, me too!! It’s so fun 🤩
Amsterdam is such a beautiful city. It will always have a special place in my heart because I got engaged there in 2015. Glad that you also had a magnificent time there!
Rotterdam is really nice ! It’s a 1 hour train from Amsterdam
This is why I like your foreign city videos better than Kat’s:
You show us the city you’re in and the cool things you see. 🤗
Kat just shows us the grocery stores she goes to and the food she bought. 🙁
Wow, you truly excelled with your 30th country! The visuals were stunning, the storyline was captivating, and the scoring was outstanding
Hello Julia, you need to plan a trip to the Netherlands for next April to see the tulip fields in full bloom, and go to Keukenhof Gardens, only 20 mins away from Amsterdam. You should also go to Zwolle, and visit Gelateria Salute gelato there for a real treat from Jan Geert who makes all his ice cream (gelato) from scratch. Best wishes, David
The last 3 days of June. This is Monday is a long weekend for Canada Day!🇨🇦🇨🇦
I just got back from Amsterdam, London and Ireland. Amsterdam was amazing. I couldn't get over all of the bicycles. I'm still telling everyone at work about that. I think I almost got ran over like 6 times. The Anne Frank house was amazing.
If you look around carefully at the flower market you can sometimes find tulip bulbs that are cleared for taking back to the US. It's a nice thing to bring home to plant and remember your trip for a really long time! Even though the bulbs I brought home had all the right paperwork, it did take a little extra time upon landing because I had to declare them but it was totally worth it.
Amsterdam looks so beautiful and I'm glad you had this layover, The bookstore looked amazing, and I love seeing the sights and flowers. Have a great day
Thank you, it was an awesome layover!!
Hi Julia👋🏼If you’re ever feeling nauseous in bed, try laying down with a cold washcloth on your tummy (use the coldest water you can). I don’t know why this works but it does! Hope you’re feeling better! Great video, btw! Sending much love to you, Eric & Luna💕💕💕
I love Amsterdam so I'm glad you enjoyed your trip there! The Rijksmuseum has some really cool paintings if you are into culture. It's also massive so you could spend most of the day there!
My wife and I are going to Amsterdam (and Cologne) in two weeks, and we really enjoyed watching your latest video. It's her first trip to Europe and I'm sure she will love it.
Amsterdam was one of a few cities I did not spend much time. Largely because I came down with a flu. But the half day I had there before leaving port was still awesome to see. Happy to see you Julia cross that off your list.
Visited Amsterdam last Sep and it is such a wonderful place to visit!
Hi!! Your Airline is now flying Philadephia -Nice in France. Tell us if you are coming!! 😊
You really should see the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, Vondelpark, PC Hoofdstraat and The An Frank house (reservations in advance)👍🇳🇱🇺🇸
Hi Julia. Really happy you got to visit Amsterdam. I enjoyed the Rijks museum and the Van Gogh museum. We managed to get tickets for Ann Frank house but it was late afternoon on the day. Would also recommend hiring a bike and cycling around vondel park In the city centre.
hi Julia. Glad you had a good layover. I am sorry you felt sick during the night. That's not nice when that happens. i send you love and hugs xxx
I always thought the crew spent time together specially in international layovers.
No one invited me out lol so I just went by myself!
Sometimes we just want to do our thing.
That too yes! I love exploring by myself honestly . I can’t do whatever I want on my time/terms
I love the bookmark idea!
I went to Amsterdam during tulip season in 2022. It was beyond anything I could have imagined. Just beautiful! I ended up having a little photoshoot there which I never do - but it was a bucket list item and it was a great backdrop!
If you can time it right - it’s usually mid April. The tulip farms are amazing and this is when Keukenhoff gardens are open and I highly recommend that.
Also - definitely try the stroopwaffels. They taste very different than what you get here (they are too sweet and chewy here).
I also went down to Gouda - the cheese market which is open on Thursdays I think which was so fun. I went to the stroopwaffel factory there - where you get free samples - simply awesome.
Safe travels ❤❤
Take the train to Haarlem, is only 2 stops by train or with the 300 bus line from Amsterdam to Haarlem (stops at Schiphol and Hoofddorp ( Hoofddorp where they have a lot cheaper hotels , also crew hotels and 10 min from the Airport) you will see a totally different city with a lot of history but less tourist, a few very nice museums, canals, very nice church and a lot of places to eat.
Great vlog as always, Julia. Amsterdam is gorgeous. Glad you had a good time. Can't wait for your next, exciting, vlog
Great video! Amsterdam is beautiful! Thanks for sharing your trip with us! 🥰
Another awesome vid! Have fun
Love Amsterdam! The Rembrandt House Museum was a favorite of mine.
We went to Amsterdam a few years ago and it really drew us in. Loved it. Said we must go back some time. Glad you had a fab time. What a quirky room. X
The area where the airport is is called Haarlemermeer (Haarlem lake in English) and in that area there are two places called Zwaanshoek and Hoofddorp (Mail village in English), so if you have a few days in the country that's two tips.
Amsterdam is one of my favorite places. Been there twice
Glad you are feeling better! 🌺
It suits her like a glove!!
Love your videos, I like seeing all the places you visit
Great Video! Glad you had a great time. Keep on livin' your best life! Great job shooting and editing too!
Great vlog as always, Julia! Amsterdam is so beautiful! I’m not sure if you’ve ever watched and/or read The Fault in Our Stars, but my mind immediately went to it when I saw the title of this vlog, and coincidentally, I was watching the movie the other day!
Have a great weekend and be safe! All my best to you, Eric, and Miss Luna!
Ohhh Julia, how nice that you are in my country and town !!
I hope you like it and enjoy it!
Super nice vlog!
It’s been many, many years but …… Volendam and (?) Markem are villages we saw. We went to the Anne Frank house but i honestly don’t remember any line ups. The Rijksmuseum, gingerbread cake with whipped cream 😋.
Well done with this vlog Julia. Amsterdam is a beautiful city. You have a very good career. I'm a little jealous.
Wow Julia! That blog was one of your best!! The photography was brilliant! I love how you position the camera, so we can see you walk past and everything! It was so great to see Amsterdam! I completely agree about walking, whenever I travel, I like to walk everywhere! That’s why I love New York, because it’s so easy!! Fab Vlog! Enjoy your week! Kirstey xx
Excellent video ❤
I'm glad you got to fly to AMS. I have flown from my hometown in Florida to my family home in Ireland via PHI to AMS on one occasion. Actually I had an 8hr layover in AMS last November and decided to take the train from Schiphol to the City. It was bitterly cold and rainy day. But still worth it.
Hey your airline has flights to Dublin from Philly. I hooe you get to visit soon! 🇮🇪
Gorgeous vlog! Happy Friday Julia!
Thank you so much happy Friday!!
Hopefully next time you can visit Volendam… you can get there by bus or by boat. It’s a small fishermans village where people wear the authentic Dutch clothing and wooden shoes. There’s also a place where you can dress in the Dutch outfit and they make a picture!!
Been there and is definitely worth visiting. 😍
Nice to see that you loved my home city. Always liking your videos you filmed. Enjoy a wonderful next layover in Europe.
Awesome video. I hope we get you as our flight attendant when we fly August 12th to 17th, 2024.
Tulip farms only in early spring. Next time walk the canal area in the Jordaan, go to Winkel 43 for apple pie and whipped cream and fresh mint tea. Go to the library near Central station…go to top floor restaurant and out onto balcony for a great free view of Amsterdam. Visit Tony Chocoloney and buy the orange wrapper bar sea salt caramel mmmmm. Walk the 9 Streets really cool, trendy but expensive shops. I could go on and on
Thanks for the tips!
I loved Amsterdam the sights, culture and museums.
I loved it too!! Such a fun city
Great vlogg Julia!
Beautiful scenery and food😋. Pretty nails 💅 😍 ✈
Yay!! I guessed right!! When you pointed to your magnet from your friend and said you had never been there, I thought yup that's where Julia is going😊 I sat next to a guy from Rotterdam on my flight from Amsterdam home and he suggested visiting a smaller town instead of spending more time in Amsterdam. He said especially during tulip time.🌷 I'm glad you didn't get full on sick Julia❤
Julia great video always ❤❤❤
Gosh girl, you keep putting places on my bucket list!! Lol! Beautiful!!
Great video ❤
I hope you had a great trip and the pasta looked good and enjoy your week
My wife and I just found your page and love it. Would you mind adding the type of plane you are taking on each trip. Example, Boeing 737-800, 787, Airbus Model, etc. Thanks so much!
My relatives lives there and I lived there for six months. I felt very safe, wanted and love the area. It is absolutely beautiful and they love Americans.
Great video! I get anxious about taking public transportation in a new location, but I think the best way to learn it is to just go for it even if that means you might get lost. I can’t wait to see which international city you go to next!
If I was dropped into the centre of Amsterdam, without knowing where I was, I would have thought I was in Copenhagen. The cities look very similar. Thanks for the blog!
Would recommend Amsterdam Botanical Garden: Hortus Botanicus
I'm currently in Utrecht (30 mins by train south of Amsterdam) and I highly recommend you visit! Not only is it just as nice as Amsterdam, it is less crowded! Currently here for the Global Leadership Exchange, a mental health event!
How cool thank you!!!
Looking beautiful hope you are well doing amazing job love your videos❤
My mom been there with her friend. She really enjoyed her trip over there.😊
Love your vlogs Julia…. Getting to go to places I would never get to go
I’m not sure if I’ve asked this or not… have you ever been to New Zealand?
classy. A true doll. Thank you.
Hope you had lots of fun 🤩.
Thank you I sure did!!
@@JettingJulia Welcome!!
Fabulous Julia, great vlog aa usual. Sending you all my sincerest wishes. Robert. Xx
Love the jeans an tank top
I was there just a few days before you (June 15/16) and it rained the entire weekend, so I'm glad the weather was so nice for you!
Have an Amsterdam good time.😄 The Dutch has an incredible Tulip industry. Check it out on the next visit. Don't forget something for Luna.
Amsterdam seems like such an amazing place to do urban street photography. Doubt I'll get there though. Had a heart attack in the wee hours of Monday June 24 code blue for 2 minutes. Had to be air medivaced from the tiny torn I live in abovevthe arctic circle to edmonton. Thanks to some powerful and rib cracking CPR I'm alive and recovering slowly with enough prescriptions to take for life to choke a horse.
Your channel and you yourself are so positive and upbeat, your journeys, you, Luna with a sprinkling of Eric are a great way to enjoy a few minutes of peace.
Oh my gosh so glad you’re still with us!!! Wishing you good health
Praying for ur speedy recovery! The God Lord wasen't ready for u yet! 🙂
Love ur videos Julia...ur a sweetheart! (and I always pray for ur safety) :🙂
You may enjoy going to the Royal Flora Holland flower auction in Aalsmeer about 60 minutes from the airport by public transportation.
Lucky Gal. My Father's Family was Dutch, from the Nijmegen area. I got off a ship in Jebel Ali (Port of Dubai) some years ago and, as things turned out, the plane stopped in Schippol. But that was it. Stopped, fuelled up, transloaded, and left again for the States. No appreciable time ashore. Dang. I'd wanted at least a few hours to see what l could. WelI, can't win 'em alI.
Man. Modern transport is so fast anymore. Vessel will approach Port, caIl for a Pilot, tug(s), as needed (contingent on thruster availability), a fuelIing barge, a chandler, arrange to pick up parts & supplies & whatever else is needed and proceed to the wharf, like a circus parade. Then, if you're lucky, line up 3 cranes and transload. Engine crew is busy doing the M & R which can't be done underway, then off you go again. Very rapid turnaround. Can be hard to get ashore time. Not a complaint. Just a reiteration of how things are now. Years ago longshoremen labored a long time breakbulk transloading. Lotta time ashore. But those days are gone, alas. Worst is ULCC's (Ultra Large Crude Carriers). Too big to make Port. Transload offshore. Crew's whole rotation is spent out on the Ocean.
We who've travelled for a living have been Iucky. We should be ThankfuI.
The windmill place is called ‘Zaanse schans’ it’s not far from Amsterdam
I am so sorry you felt horrible so glad you are feeling better 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
Thank you! It was scary waking up in the middle of the night feeling sick but thankfully nothing was seriously wrong
Even though i live just 25 miles from Amsterdam and have been to places you have been the way you make the vlog still gives it the travel vlog vibe 🙂.
The "windmill town" you mentioned properly is the one called "Kinderdijk". Very pretty, though 2 hours of public transportation or 1 hour by (rental) car out of Amsterdam.
Oh my gosh, I would have still bought the cookie dough deliciousness to try later!
Every Tuesday at 10am CEST, all tickets become available for a visit six weeks later. If there are no more tickets available on the selected date, they are sold out. That’s 4am Philadelphia time.
I got to go to Amsterdam in 2006 on a work trip and it was amazing. We got in trouble using the bus for public transportation, I think we had to buy the cards to be stamped for it in a local mall/book place. Didn't get to do the Ann Frank house either but certainly wanted to, whoops. The bars were downright scary to me, the place is wide open. congrats on another country, Amsterdam looks like its still awesome! Was hoping to see another magnet, but understand your reasoning for not doing so.
Hey Julia sorry you felt so crappy at night.... Rijksmuseum would be something to lookout for next time or any of the other ones. Safe flights :)
Oh my goodness how beautiful
It was stunning 🤩
Hi Julia. I used to be like you since I used to have no fear of flying. But
that all changed when I was on a flight that crashed. I survived that
crash, but it left me with a fear of flying.
Have you ever felt scared during a flight? And do you know anyone who
is like me?
The windmill town you speak of is Volemdam. Easy with public transportation. I’m frequently in Amsterdam since my family lives there. I love your channel. The bad side is that I’m a Delta loyalist as my dad worked for them for 37 years. Hopefully you don’t hold it against me. However, I would love to give you more tips of seeing Amsterdam. Next time to the Amsterdam ICE bar.
we went there last July. our son was married there on the canal. we went to the Ann Frank house. You need to go if you get the chance.
You are my favorite CZcamsr
same here
@@breannanance116 👍🏻
My son and family were in Amsterdam a few days before and after their Norwegian cruise to Norway. They visited a miniature city that was remarkably real, and worth a visit. It is on my bucket list, I passed through there years ago on my way home from Malta, unfortunately, we were not allowed to leave the airport.:( It's a beautiful place.
Love your videos. 💜 your hard work and dedication shines thru. And yeah, welcome to old cities with cobble stones and other uneven surfaces. They definitely test your knee mobility. 😅
Lovely video. 🥰Seeing & Hearing your thoughts of visiting Amsterdam for the very first time 😊 you had beautiful weather .love your T shirt i need to get a new one 😜.
Kinderdijk, keukenhof ( so pretty took my parents many years ago ) have a Good weekend 🥰
Thank you! 😃
I live in the Netherlands and Amsterdam is nice but busy. If you want to explorer an old city in the Netherlands consider to take the train to Utrecht (25 minutes from Amsterdam) also an old city and if you need more information just send me a message.
liverpool you need to visit i am from there
The long haul is fine but it catches up with you.
Ciao Giulia... Grazie per il video !!! i enjoy it so much... a cuddle to Miss Luna... see you next time... ver nice town ...🌹🌹🌹

Found your channel the other day and I love your content and you're so pretty too! I live on the East Coast of England right next to the North Sea so u probs flew over me to get to Amsterdam!! Safe travels :) 🥰
Welcome!! Thank you ☺️
Ever been to Ireland
Julia I hope you enjoyed Amsterdam, and I don't think you could ever look even remotely close to rough at all your a Beautiful Young Lady, and you have a personality to match.
Hey, I guessed right!! Cheers from GEG ❣
This is why I want to become a flight attendant! I’ve visited one other country besides the US. The airline companies pay for hotel, whenever you are off you can go to a place almost or for free. I wanna visit other countries because the countries are extremely beautiful. Question, how old can you become a flight attendant? Was told 18. Also, do you have to go to college to become a flight attendant?
Great video Julia! ❤❤❤
Next country maybe I’m suggesting is Greece or Africa/South Africa. (Just some ideas).
Have an amazing weekend!❤
