Denne video viser hvordan man hækler i forreste maskeled.
Når man ser en maske oppefra, kan man se at masken ligner et V, bestående af to maskeled. Ofte hækler man gennem begge maskeled. Hvis man ønsker at give sit hækletøj form eller struktur, kan man hækle i enten det forreste eller det bagerste maskeled. Det maskeled der er tættest på dig er det forreste maskeled og det der er længst væk fra dig er det bagerste maskeled.
I denne video er teknikken vist med fastmasker, men du kan bruge alle typer masker.
OBS! Vær opmærksom på at der i videoen hækles i den første maske. Ofte erstattes første maske af en luftmaske, følg derfor altid den opskrift du bruger.
1. Stik nålen ind i forreste maskeled.
2. Slå om og træk omslaget med tilbage gennem masken. Der er nu 2 løkker på nålen.
3. Slå om, og træk omslaget igennem begge løkker på nålen. Du har nu hæklet en fastmaske i forreste maskeled.

This video shows how to crochet into the front loop only.
When you look at a stitch from the top, you can see that it resembles a V, made up of two loop strands. Usually, you crochet through both loop strands. If you want to give your crochet texture or shape, you can crochet into either the front loop or the back loop. The loop closest to you is the front loop, and the one furthest from you is the back loop.
In this video, the technique is demonstrated with double crochet stitches, but you can use any type of stitch.
NOTE! Be aware that in the video, stitches are made in the first stitch. Often, the first stitch is replaced by a chain, so always follow the pattern you are using.
Insert the hook into the front loop.
Yarn over and pull the yarn through the stitch. You now have 2 loops on the hook.
Yarn over, and pull through both loops on the hook. You have now crocheted a double crochet in the front loop.
