- A former homeless man who spent years sleeping rough has been voted London's happiest bus driver. Patrick Lawson, originally from Hackney, became homeless after spending time in jail and he used to sell the Big Issue. He was chosen by passengers who nominated him through the "Hello London" award.
I just got off the bus this gentleman was driving - what a wonderful man - respect.
Good for him, he bettered his life. Shame we there aren’t more people like him
Patrick is a fantastic role model and has such a wealth of experience, that gives hope to others going through challenging times in their lives. A true inspiration

Could be something wrong with his brain, could easily have a parasite that is causing him to be happy under any circumstances. London traffic is not the best.
These jobs are slavery run by big bosses we're just slavering around for 10 25 pound an hour minimum wage I don't no how people can he happy doing these tesco sainsburys bus driving jobs horrible
Salaries are higher in London but thats due to cost of living but I think alot of people like the job because they like buses.
