I found the best way to play games is to use FSR and set your FPS limit to 40, and your refresh rate to 40 which makes the experience consistent and solid with perfect frametime
Only game this works and doesn't work for is horizion zero dawn.... this game has always had an annoying stutter sadly. Even when cryoutilities and other things done. I've tested everything.
30 fps for 450 dollars xD very must have on good pc you can play those games in more than 60 on pc in similar price range and on 30 fps u can get from a laptop with integrated graphics card and u have bigger screen more memory more ram same price and its laptop u can move around with that and battery life is actually better than 2 hours. i see it cannot even maintain 60 fps and getting hot as vulcano i wish u good luck with battery and other components max 5 years and you throw this deck to bin

Im suprised that not so many people go for 40fps.. you can set the screen to that refresh rate , this way you dont push the system as much as with 60fps and you get more fluidity and better response times

I know. I have 2 PCs and a PS5 but i ended up getting a steam deck too. With two jobs and only a weekend off per month + travelling abroad a couple of times a year, steam deck fits perfectly

Тем более 720п на 720п мониторе смотрится лучше чем на 1080п мониторе 720п (лично проверял, на 2 ноутбуках), а в Стим деке 800п это хороший выбор. И ещё один факт 60 герц монитор хорошо сочетается с 30 ФПС, а вот на моем 144 герцовом мониторе 30 ФПС это боль, а 60 ФПС это 30 ФПС по ощущениям. Ну и как раз Стим дек восновном рассчитывался на долгое использование батарейки. Ну если вы хотите больше производительности но играть час-полтора то лучше конечно посмотреть на Асус рог

My room was so cold then, or probably my steam deck was newest. After months, my steam deck is still keeping 79-81C temps on heavy games. So, 83-87C is normal temp. If is more than 92C then that's not okay and needs repaste or lower a bit clock speed.

Hello, R5 3400GE is faster than R3 3200G. R5 3400GE is a bit weaker than 3400G. But i prefer to pick R5 3400GE, because cpu has 8 threads which is much better on newest games than 4 threads(3200G)
go for 5600g much better & sometimes cheaper... or save little and get R5 5500 with (gtx1050 ti / 1650) u have more options than we had year ago when everything was expensive :/
The little machine that could. Definitely getting one if I need to travel. Might even grab one just to see it in action...I mean Crysis...on a handheld is something I thought I'd never see. And the user settings on the device look so good...much better than PC actually lol. Per Hz control for refresh rate and framettime accurate frame locks. And it works with every game while on PC we are still dealing with devs banning SpecialK for no reason.

On Steam there are games that depend on the third-party launcher (EA, Rockstar, Ubisoft) etc.. but not all of them always depend on the internet, but in that case go for the Switch, (the quality of Steam Deck beats the Nintendo switch)

FSR was never Enabled.. You need to choose a lower resolution lower than the Native resolution so then FSR Upscales it giving youma boost in FPS. Most of this run better that what you showed 😉

@@GoldenBeast90 if you're not afraid of tinkering a bit with it you could buy the 64gb version and then replace the internal storage with an nvme ssd 2230 with a bigger capacity (512 gb or even 1 tb), because 64 gb is not a lot especially if you're planning on playing AAA games on it.

Graphics look blurry asf, it's like playing a switch on a 4k tv. I'm getting a new console in a few days, as for now I'm watching reviews for the consoles I want , including steam deck but graphics are really bad on this console so Im probably going to ditch this one for that reason.

Not every game can be tested but Steam Deck is a great choice for anyone don't want to play PS4 at home or no time spending at home
