In this video I am going to clear all your doubts and give you all those question’s answers asked by subscribers aka Indian Seafarers regarding CDC Replacement and CDC Renewal. I have already uploaded a video where I show how to apply CDC Replacement Online and CDC Renewal Online through DG Shipping website and your seafarer profile. Follow the video link below. To replace or renew your cdc, the most important task to do from your side is to upload photograph and signature in your seafarer profile. I have a video regarding that too please find the link below. It is important for Indian seafarer or sailor sailing onboard different type of merchant navy ships to renew and replace your cdc in time and there are some guidelines from dg shipping (Directorate general of Shipping) and mmd (mercantile marine department) for replacement of cdc what actually you need to do, what will happen to your old cdc, sailing records, sailing stamp pages etc. when you should replace your cdc. DG Shipping can change their rules anytime. So, please double check before applying any marine documents.
Example of CDC Replacement: My time, I did have to wait for application approval to send old CDC to Shipping master, on approval I received an email saying 'you can send your cdc to Shipping Master'.
But Now you have to send your Old CDC first, otherwise they won't approve your application.
So, in this type of cases, when your application stuck in between, don't wait for 1.5 months, just ask them and confirm.

@@MrJahaji Its almost a month waiting for cdc renewal sticker, applied cdc renewal on December 21st 2020, approved on jan 4 2021, till today that is 16 Jan 2021, didn't receive cdc renewal sticker..on your video saying that 15 day for renewal, is this 15 days counted after approval of application or total duration to receive cdc sticker..

Answers
1) CDC Renewal sticker will come to the address printed on your CDC. No matter what's is permanent and present address in Indos.
2) first thing first. You have to decide which is your present and permanent address. But same address should be there in passport and cdc. (Check whether your application got approval, dgs can reject your application sometimes because of this reason).

How many days it will take to receive CDC after being approved by SHIPPING MASTER?
You have not mentioned anywhere in your video to go for renewal or replacement if the CDC is not expiring but don't have pages for stamping(All stamping pages finished)
CDC expire hone me 10month hai.page kaafi hai usme. sticker apply online onboard rehker ker sakta hu. Ya sign off hoker kerna padega sticker apply aisa koi rule hai kya. Kya ship or se apply ker sakta hu sticker expire ke 10month before ... PLZZ help.. TIA

On approval you would get an email from shipping master/dgs that you should send your old cdc to Shipping master address (see description)

Uploading CDC to your seafarer profile? CDC first two pages -- personal details page and STCW course page, Last two pages -- latest sailing stamp page and permanent address/next of keen page.
Bro by mistake I didn’t upload the stamped pages of cdc and what should I do now to reupload it....it’s not showing any reupload option for me now
Check your status, see reupload option is there.

As per u we should wait for the online approval but on other sites the documents must be despatched soon after uploading the documents as the approval depends upon the hard copies too.

Cdc number will be same. Validity will increase. For passport renewal, every time new pp number will be issued.

Yes, you were right. Mumbai shipping master and mmd address is different. And we have to send our CDC to Shipping Master.

And you surely dont have to send any photographs as the photographs will be taken from your seafarer profile. Kindly update your seafarer profile before you apply.
