You know nothing, mainstream press. All the negative reviews I've been seeing in my newsfeed about this show are so off base. This show is so good and is really living up to the orginal source material. And this is coming from someone who is a bit hard to please when it comes to TV shows. Bravo, HBO, for getting this right! Theo and Rose are doing a phenomenal job as Henry and Clare.
Unpopular opinion, but I even liked the movie, but it didn't capture the characters and character motivation nearly as well as the show is doing.

Thank you HBO, I saw the first episode and I enjoyed it. I read the book and know how interesting and intricate it is and Steven Moffat adapted it nicely, and love David Nutters direction, and I applaud Theo James and Rose Leslie for their nuanced fine performances. Excited to see the next episodes.

This is a beautiful show. I have never used the word ‘beautiful” to describe a show but this is the one… Claire is so genuine and Henry is so apt in all the performances ❤ ❤ She is not just Jon snow”s gf, she is much more than that.

I just started this show and I really like it even though I knew it was cancelled. Theo James and Rose Leslie have great chemistry. I'm surprised they've never done a romcom before, they are both so charming and I would totally watch it.

There is some, not much, about Theo James nudity in "The Time Traveler's Wfe." It seems to me, that this is more of a big deal in the United States than in England or most of western Europe. Theo James must rank at the very top of great looking men, and as well, was born in England. The first time I think I saw him was in Season 1, Episode 3 of Downton Abbey. And he was incredible. Sadly, he died in the same episode while in Lady Mary's bedroom of some sort of catastrophic event. I am writing this because it seems people in the US are hung up about nudity. Perhaps if they were not there would be more openess and well-adjusted men. I was watching a television show very recently where a hearing was held on the banning of books. I was shocked that any book would be banished from libraries in this day and age. Rose Leslie was also in Downton and seems to be enjoying a great acting career as well as is Theo James. Congratulations, Gwen and Kamal !!!
I've always been a movie buff (Bond 007) and I just wonder WHY!?!???...THEO JAMES was never considered for the roll of Jame Bond after Daniel Craig ????...its just me but I think he would have been perfect...good luck.

For an HBO show, yes it's worth it
The bitter Sandition fans again. I saw the first episode, I applaud Theo for taking this role. It's challenging and it shows his range as an actor. You are not a true Theo fan I guess, bc if you have read the book, knows David Nutter (director of Game of Thrones), Steven Moffat, writer of Dr. Who, and HBO, you will be happy for him.
Rose Leslie is a great actress. Look up her projects and see how she transforms hersself as an actress.
