⚠️⚠️⚠️Hay bud. Penetrating oil devolves what little grease or gear oil they use on the bearings. After cleaning the penetrating oil will evaporate along with the lube it needs. Always add lube after penetrating oil is dry. Penetrating oil has a solvent mixed with oil to thin it out. It literally melts grease from bearings. Add penetrating oil to a squeaky bearing, the squeak stops temporarily then it comes back louder.
if you fill a glass up with the fluid and dip the motor in while it is running on a 12v battery you will also clean the brushes and the commutator. You can use wd40 or brake cleaner or similar.
Hey I recently bought a slash 1/16 that came with the titan 12t and I rode it in a small muddy puddle and the titan wont start moving or work but it can turn on can you help in any way?
Sounds like either the ESC or the motor fried. If you bought it brand new and very recently it should still be covered under warranty through text Traxxas
Great video my freind , I do the same with mine, great how to Video, is that a 540 brushed Motor. Does it take 3s and are they fast Motors. ? Big THUMBS up from me and a sub to go along with that my friend 👍 keep safe and well and keep them coming. 👍🇬🇧😁🇺🇸

How long does it take for penetrating oil to dry?
cool nice to know that.. thanks! subscribed😎
cool video👍🏻😊😊
good to know subscribed
The problem with spraying the penetrating oil inside of the can like that is that it attracts dust and it will get dirtier faster than it did before
I'd blow it out as much as possible then
why don't use a blower!

Lube the bearings with 10W non detergent Machine Oil.
How about using the wD40 first to loosen uo oil and grit followed by parts cleaner ?
That should be fine, just lube the bearings or bushings after

This is a 550 17 turn can that can handle 3s low gearing for low speed crawler

this is the hard and expensive way to do it.
Maf cleaner should be good
Penetrating fluid isn't lube, it's penetrating fluid... WD-40 is to loosen up rusty bolts, not for cleaning or lubricating.
Electric parts cleaner leaves a goo all over everything! Use Nitro motor and karts cleaner!
Don't use only wd-40 there will come smoke out. I did it btw
It will be fine I wait a day or two for the oil soak in properly
Gerardo Ortiz so I need 2 wait 2 days and I can ride then
@@Crisinator I like to wait a few hours to a day , don't use to much wd40
Gerardo Ortiz problem i used a lot
@@TheEgb18c I only used wd-40 nothing else and a lot of it will I be fine?
