If they approached me after, I'd be happy and introduce myself, if not no biggie.
He certainly got the authentic Jim cornette experience lol
This would have been a great ad read for a Ring doorbell
Too bad Jim doesn't have one (apparently). We could watch the footage...😂
I want to give props to Cornette's illustrator for drawing "Castle Cornette" to resemble the Defend Your Castle flash game from the early 00s.
I never thought I would hear GG and Merle Allin mentioned in a Jim Cornette clip 😂
GG has been mentioned a few times, always crazy to hear it though lol
@hughieedward1683: Shows you what I know. I hear the word "Merle" and I think of the Actress Merle Oberon. And of course Merle Haggard. Chilling Sidebar: "Merle" is French for "Blackbird." Which back in the day was a Beatles Song.😔B.W.
Brian has stated he has a thing for punk rock, and GG was a small but really indelible part of it, so...
On the real, this is some scary shit. You never know what the guy was pulling out. Severed head comes to mind. Maybe a few 8x10s. Who knows.
How could this fan be so oblivious?!?! Lol
I met Corny at a FanFest in 2006, what a super nice and welcoming guy. He was just a regular wrestling fan who got to live the dream we all had of being in the business, and he was happy to talk to everyone.
If I showed up to his actual home, completely unannounced, I'd have not been surprised to find myself the target of a Corny roast. And I'd deserve it for violating his right to privacy.
He's a celebrity, but he's also a human being.
Originally met him right before him & Stan Lane left NWA/WCW in the fall of 1990. Also got to have several more decent conversations with him in early 1993 when they tried to get the WCW/Smokey Mountain thing going..
Me an my husband seen Jim at A mall around holiday time . My husband is such A mark he yelled ( Love you Jim ) Jim smiled waved an rolled his eyes .. It was classic!!!
Please don't do this even if you mean well. If Cornette and Last get rightfully pissed by stuff like this, I don't want it to jeopardize this great show.
Def not cool...How any sane person can justify showing up on private property hoping for a meeting of a celebrity is just crazy. 🤦♂️
Why would anyone want to go see Brian? Listening to him is more than enough
I would’ve paid good money to see a recording of Jim’s real time reaction to this 😂😂
I’ve been listening to Cornette Clips for over 5 years and this is the first time that I’ve feared for my life.
He watches aew probably. In the box was a DVD compilation of all the 20-star matches and wanted to evangelize to jim about how he's wrong about aew sucking.
A Jonmoxley's Witness?
While the story is hilarious with Cornette's way of telling it, it's also extremely dangerous the guy had this easy of access to his front door, especially when Cornette, a public figure, has "enemies" that may not be all there mentally. Look up Rebecca Schaeffer to see an example.
@ManorHQ: John Lennon.😔B.W.
Gavin Free and his girlfriend had a wild experience too, dude broke into their home while they were there. And was there to kill gavin so she could have a better boyfriend, fucking wild
Not everyone, even though well-known, has full-time-bodyguard money.
@@rockinmel1 Jim does, but by the sounds of it he's never needed one at home, until now...
@@KOHoxtonthe guy ended up being shot dead, don’t think they do stuff online anymore.
In 1989 an obsessed fan shot actress Rebecca Schaffer at her house. Most Generation Xers like myself might remember that.
Yep. Unfortunately, she sent this guy a nice reply to one of his fan letters before that, and that only added fuel to the fire. Also, if her apartment building's intercom system had been working properly that day, that whole tragedy could've been avoided. She had to actually go down to the lobby to see who it was and that set the stage. Very tragic.😢
Still remember the woman who stalked David Letterman lol. He would come home & she'd be in his house doing regular things like she actually lived with him lol.. 🤣
May she be at peace.
Om Shanti
This is just the wrong way to approach someone in general. Let them live their lives and then engage with fans on their terms.
Jim Cornette paying homage to Brayy Wyatt.. RUN
What?! You dares to come to Castle cornette?!
Who in the hell would ever think showing up to the house of someone you do not know is okay? What the actual hell is wrong with some of these people?
Did he have to park his car on your fence as well?
LMFAO good one that story always cracks me up I'm so glad you referenced it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@benespinosa6725that story is wild 😂
I gotta find that story again, more so for Brian having to mute himself cos he was crying 😂😂
What story?
@@RandalfElVikingo the story of a speeding car getting jammed on Corny's fence and Corny flipping out on the witnesses
That is really ballsy to just show up at someone's house, especially a celebrity or well known person & just walk up to the door thinking that person would just be inviting. People are crazy!!!
from everything we've ever heard from or about Jim, how did this person think showing up unannounced was a good idea?
Brian, I think you're beyond help.😜
But seriously folks, DO NOT just show up at someone's house, especially someone you just know from tv! That is just straight-up bananas.
And Jim, hope things turn out well for your Mom in Law.
Funny enough I looked online for picture of Cornette’s house-like to see if he was ever pictured in front of it-giving a video tour. I came across a news article about him and his neighbors opposing a new development…and Google mapped the township. But at a certain point I was like - eh, enough is enough-I’ll be just fine not seeing the house or knowing where he lives. I lead a life of solitude, by choice-and I don’t talk to many people-but thank heavens I’m not lonely enough to consider driving to Cornette’s house.
I feel bad for Corny, and the guy-hopefully this snapped him out of his depression.
Thats creepy shit. Dude cant be all there. Hope Corny has protection for shit like that.
Hes definitely packing heat, you can legally concealed carry here without a permit. No reason to not own a gun here.
Look up the Cornette raccoon story, he’s got a gat
He threatened Brock Lesnar with a .45 loaded with hollow points. I imagine he still has it, and rightfully so.
I don't even like when people come over my house
Guy probably went home to his friends and was like "dude, hes just like he is on tv!"
I mean, if he was such a big fan, how could he not have known or have been surprised at how it would turn out?
Over the last years with Brian as Co host I enjoy how much he brings up gg allin in passing
I would have brought him a case of Sprite Zero Sugar and acted like I was a brand rep
I can’t understand why anyone would think its okay to show up to somebody’s house that they don’t know. Especially someone that claims to be a fan of Cornette, how did he think this would go😂
Long Time listener, and huge fan. I am from Virginia Beach, born and raised, we don’t claim that guy.
I'm from Portsmouth, Virginia and even I feel embarrassed about this 😂
Where in Portsmouth? I'm over in Port Norfolk and when Jim said that clown was from Va. Beach, my first thought was "I wonder if I know this idiot?" @@criminalmindsgirl2936
You know the guy is listening to this shitting a brick all over again.
My God people, these folks are private citizens. Just because they are on TV does not give you the right to impose on people. They don't owe you shit.
"He didnt end up on my fence, but he almost ended up in my septic tank!"
I nearly fell out of my chair at work.
In Texas,if a guy showed up without being invited like that,it would have been a much different ending. 😮
Kentucky isn't much different.
That's exactly what I was here to say.
Jims a fake liberal
Like self defense is a uniquely Texas thing 🙄.
@zombieninjatedsmith1301 No,but the amount of fire power is not the same in most states as it is in Texas. Duh 🙄
I'm too shy to even meet wrestlers at paid meet & greets most of the time, let alone showing up at someone's house! Good Lord, terrifying.
I got to meet batista and henry at galaxycon, probably two of the most anxiety inducing dudes to meet up until they start talking to you, absolute sweethearts.
That’s wild he got the full Jim Cornette experience 😂😂😂
Personal boundaries can be a bit of a tightrope for celebrities. This is why I hide among the shrubs and bushery of Jim's garden and respectfully observe his movements through the windows - without bothering him.
"Country roads take him home, to the place where belongs"
A Corny's home is his castle.
It’s just narcissism plain and simple. Parents tell their kids they are the most beautiful, unique snowflake their whole lives, then they think “Why wouldn’t Jim want to hang out with me???”
And that just struck me wrong
So you’ve chosen death 😂
That's scary, and how the hell did someone find your house?! I don't even drive 5 minutes to see my brother. I'm really not a people person 😅😂
Well real fans respects Cornettes privacy ,the Rock ,John Cena, Steve Austin, Cody Rhodes are probably the same way especially with a lot of home invasions happening and what happened to Sonya Deville
How does Stacy not have at least a doorbell camera? This video wouldn’t been pure GOLD!
Yep! Would've been right up there with the Dairy Queen footage. Maybe even better!
Would’ve been the drive thru at DQ or Wendy’s all over again.
A GG allin reference on the cornette drive through was not on my list of things expected to hear
Brian is actually a big punk fan. He’ll drop lyrics or references every now and then.
He’s mentioned GG a few times on the podcast. I don’t think Corny has any idea who he is though. Haha
@@JimmyHeartburn there should be a whole episode devoted to him discovering gg allin, and his reaction to him XD
GG was perfectly over as a heel. Throwing crap on people? Now that's heat.
Jim got me with the flowerbed / blooming idiot line at the end.
Would pay high high amounts of money to see a video of this. Imagine how excited this guy was walking up the driveway 😅😅
Yeah we want the video 😊😊😊
unless you've got no phone and need to call someone, don't go a stranger's house, and no one is stranger than Jim Cornette lol
I kid with the last part, but really, don't go to people's houses, folks
lol he didn’t take the bump off the front porch 😂
9 min in... Mental Pic of Jim running around 😂😂😂❤
I bet that guy is listening to this too🤣🤣🤣
I'm now picturing that scene from Monster Squad, where the local kids across the street from the scary looking house, trading urban legends of "scary wrestling guy"
