These games were on at like 3:00 am in the US and I remember having to stand up to watch them because if I sat or lay down on the couch I would fall asleep in an instant. But this was the USMNT’s best squad of my lifetime. Watching these highlights, we could have won this game, with just a bit of luck. Crazy to think we could play so close with a world power in the sport.

20 years later, the image quality from these broadcasts put many current broadcasts to shame. I doubt this year's Super Bowl will match this.

That usa squad knocked out my mexico team. I was salty, but that was a hand ball and the USMT got robbed of a penalty
