Agreed! I have even switched to using the insta360 go 2 on occasion and its the same issue
Wow - what a neat idea. You answered a question I had been thinking about for months and months and months.
Put the hinge at the top, fix the go pro “up side down” this will stop the tilting and is actually the correct method for attaching to the chesty

Thanks for the showing us how to wear a gopro better.
The gopro mount will still slide into the chest mount with a t-shirt inbetween them. No need for those magnets, glue and extra magnet mounts.
So all you need is the chest mount?
Insta360 go2 with the magnetic pendant.. 👍
I use a thumbscrew that actually folds over. Once it's tight it folds at a 90 degree angle.

I do understand the chest mount, didn’t like the way it looked as well and had to return it.
I'm looking into this myself and if you watch my channel you can see I use my gopro on the chest a lot.
but anyways, have you worked on this since this release would love to hear if you got even more creative and a video/photo of you wearing the gopro would be lovely 🌞

I got a cheap gopro strap clamp mount and put it on my sling bag strap
It can rotate too for vertical videos
I think the police style body cams will be the best for your application.

great video what kinda glue did you use? gorilla glue is fine?
I used E6000. Im sure gorilla glue would work as well i just always seem to have e6000 on hand for one craft or another

Wear a shirt with buttons down the front. Put the GoPro on, then the shirt. The camera says peek-a-boo.
This is pretty creative. The chest mounts are definitely so awkward for us girls. I usually have to put it higher on my chest just above my boobs.

Just get a cheap chest mount off ebay , and glue the frame to it only 6 dollas

Are those magnets very strong (the magnetic force)? To be extra secure with the camera, are those magnets available in stronger strength (magnetic force) ?
I just bought the snap mount a couple of days ago…I can assure you the magnets ARE very strong! They’re strong enough that I could put a plate on the OUTSIDE of my car windshield and mount my GoPro INSIDE the car on the windshield. Yes, I’d say the magnets are strong enough! Hope this helps. ~Jim~

Easier solution : dump the gopro altogether..buy a insta360 Go 2 and use it with the magnet pendant thingy.

I’d rather have a camera out not stealthy than someone to see me recording and also trying to hide the fact..
What is the point of that you can still see the camera
Are you gonna record through your shirt?
That doesn’t make sense are you recording through your shirt
But still you have the GoPro sticking out in the middle of your chest - not inconspicuous. All you are doing is hiding the chest straps. Better maybe but still not so "stealthy" is it?
That's the idea. I thought that was obvious !!
