8:42 - I use those screws since the Hero 7 but the rubber piece. I’ve found that you can easily tighten the screw to the mounts to the point that if you hit a branch on a bike for example, youre more likely to break either the camera or branch rather than the camera moving. so definitely was great for my longboard since other screws when hitting a crack or bump would move my camera
10:22 - you will have better success and less problems using a hub adapter for your specific mobile device. the quick key has lots of problems and will usually not work well

I have combo that came with Magnetic Clip. And I was like WHAAAAAT? when you rotated that mount for GoPro on 360 degrees. I didn’t knew that

how did you find the Gdome v the telesin for the little marks/scratchy looking bits on the exposed side of the dome? I have the telesin and I know I can work to take them out in post for photos, but whether using the "dunk it" method or the coating method to keep it from picking up droplets, it's a pain for videos. (It's babied and kept scratch free, I just wish it was a lil easier to 'just use')

Nice list. I would add some more to your list:
- magnetic snap mount
- magnetic mount from Ulanzi (GP-4)
- battery door from Ulanzi to charge (I got the G9-6)
- battery handle from Ulanzi (BG-2)
- cold shoe bracket for mic and light from Ulanzi (PT-8)
Max mod mode hack be used without max lens if you have original lens and just enable the feature. It works better in standard mode and doesn’t utilize the hypersmooth 3.0 well but can be used on a pinch. I have the max lens and agree with you to get it especially if you have the subscription discount.

It's always rad shooting IG stories on GoPro especially if you don't have the latest smartphone (which most of us don't) and are looking to use a wide angle lens ;)
I had a hero 4 silver when it first came out , used it once in Thailand and sat in the cupboard ever since, but I want to start using one again, which one would you recommend, the 8 , 9 , or 10 , thanks

Hey Vanessa, I don't recommend using them, If it's super bright outside, go to ProTune on your GoPro camera settings & reduce "EV comp" to -1 or -2 (depending on the brightness). It's really simple and will make the shot look better in brighter conditions.
Do the sticky mounts take the paint off of cars and are they reusable up to so many times? And when it’s used so many times do you throw the mount away or can you replace the stickers on them
Great accessories walk thru, but what I really is looking for is a thumb screw long enough so that I can use it with the MediaMod, the provided screw is too short in my opinion. To be able to tighten the screw I need a screw driver, not even Gopro’s own tool can be used.

When you go for water based trips like a scuba diving or a theme park, what are the basic go pro things you carry with you to shoot for the entire day? In what bag you carry those things? If in case I travel alone, I cannot leave my bag on the shore or somewhere else. Please advise on what type of bag you use? Any waterproof bag? Please clarify

When you use the bite mount, how do you shoot vertical content?
to shoot vertical from the bite you also need to use the helmet mount of the portrait mount to realign the camera in a vertical position

I love watching your videos highly informative! I already have the media mod, magnetic swivel chip, spare batts, GoPro Light Mod, selfie sticks, even the snap mounts but I want to have the Rode Wireless Go and after watching your video I purchased the Ulanzi Dual Camera Mount (something i have in my amazon cart for weeks because i was thinking if i will need it), thanks to you the decision was finally made! The only problem is I have everything even 2 Hero9 but where to go? haha! But I'm really a fan of GoPro since GoPro Hero 3 + Black, then Hero6 Black. omg! In doing a ferrata where you dont have access to holding a gopro max, would the stick mount be what you recommend for the helmet? I worry that the top of the helmet will show a bit in the video.

Hi jack, any trick for mic quality gopro 10? Coz for around that sound hear so loud, but for the record the voice is so low. Mic mod GoPro is so expensive btw
I love a gopro dome - but its quite bulky and a waste of space to take on vacations. Any idea for a dome that allows for the empty space to be filled with some other stuff (e.g. a padded bag of small gopro items so they do not scratch the inside of the dome)

Does anyone know where to get the iPhone quik key? I can only find android version??
Have you checked out the new Ulanzi GP-9 battery adapter which adapts the GoPro 5-8 batteries to the Hero 9?? It does throw a warning up, but it allows you to use the older batteries which you probably have scads of.

Question to the bite mount: I can see you doing a head jump with the mount in your mouth. Does it not hurt to hit the water and get your teeth pressed when the GoPro meets resistance in the form of the water surface? Greetings from Denmark
Hey Chris, when I'm jumping into the water often my hands will first break the surface reducing the impact of the gopro against my face. I'm sure if i was hitting my face first on the water surface i'd have have a few less teeth :) but I also don't jump from too high if attempting to capture that style of POV shot

You can't use the Max lens mod and ND filter at the same time, can ya?
You can just use the portrait mode stick and shift the camera arround 90 degrees, towards you or away from you. You dont need to buy a new one. The frame is too small, so just use the gopro the same way, but have the frame behind, kind of blocking the screen a bit

Hi Jake Rich. Question: Do you think the frequency of switching lenses for hero 9 will tamper the Water Resistance of the gopro over time? Thanks in advance.
No. The removable front facing lens does not effect the cameras ability to resist water. The GoPro is sealed underneath so even if water enters the front facing screen it’s not going to break it just severely impacts the image clarity. I often have problems with the lens fogging up and water droplets entering the front cabinet which sucks. The best solution I’ve found is to make sure the front lens is completely dry (overnight) before putting it back 🤷🏽♂️

I will be getting my 9 by next week but I understand that you can shoot in portrait mode and still be able to mount the camera in landscape position. So no need for that portrait mount. One less thing to carry.

I'd assume the vast majority of these would be compatible with the Insta360 OneR?
the one r is pretty much compatible with all the GoPro mounts once you have the one R shoe over it, it has the same prongs
Can I take the hero 8 black with no case and just put in water and not worry about damaging it because I am a bit scared to do that?

Screen shot (shift + command + 4) then use photoshop to edit your thumbnail and upload to CZcams

What about the "3-way" stick?
I don't recommend it, the old one used to break all the time, maybe the new one has improved joints and mounts but the old one isn't great
