very true..... but i don't think that every religion comes under as much scrutiny as the Vatican......because as far as i have noticed (personally) , i have never heard people or even the media make a big news of any other religion dealing with exorcism as much as the they focus on the Vatican...... can you even believe that in 2010 someone said that "the devil" was in the Vatican?.....i mean this was actually reported in the ABC News.....which religion gets so much attention on something people fear? i mean, yes there our other religions where possessions can be found but no one looks into those religions and how they deal with Demonic Possession....... but i guess since most of the people are mainly Christians, the fact that exorcism was/ is practiced by the church can sometimes scare people........and to be honest i would like to know more about demonology and how do other religions deal with Demonic Possession, because when you type exorcism the articles that mainly pop up are from exorcisms done by the church.....
I have seen the possessed people in other religions..they are ridicolous compared to people that need a Catholic exorcism.
Also other religions don't cast out demons, demons just keep on doing their stuff forever letting people think they are gone.

There has to be something to it the catholic Bible I went to stay with a family that was living through a horrible haunting right out of a movie really worst I saw thing I have never seen in any other haunted house. And when I had the family finally leave that house the one room none of the spirits could enter we found the Bible is that why I don't know but why is it they didn't or couldn't I believe in spirits but what they are no clue yet still learning, they can follow you sound like people or sounds and they have a power what not sure yet but if anyone have a idea share please

Oh there are true demons among us and they came in the form of humans .For the atrocities they unleash on other fellow humans is pure evil.
If the stories are true then the world isn't well I have seen spirits in houses and some I thought weren't human from what they could do and I can't lie you might get scared but you must stand up and they say it's the words but they don't always work one time a young priest ran from the house and would call us back or come back he didn't even say good bye he did the last room and ran
Interesting video... Upon reading the scriptures, whenever Jesus cast out a demon, these did not return. So, how is it that these priests perform these exorcisms several times on the same individual...sometimes for a matter of years?
I dont know good question i no there holy men but there not Jesus himself so maybe they have to keep trying ,i personally think we r all being tested even the priests if they want to be gods soldiers im not religious more spiritual but its a good question hunni.

I can certainly understand that they want to explore all avenues prior to performing a sacred ritual. But would it be harmful to just perform an exercism right away?
Because first " thou shalt not take name of the LORD thy God in vain , for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh is name in vain." Secondo if let's say a mentaly ill person going freak out in some psychose. It's maybe not the better idea to fuel he's or she's delusion.
Yes it would be harmful. I have listened to well respected Catholic priest who are exorcists. There have been mentally ill people who have gone to the Catholic Church for exorcism and have been denied. Why? Because they're looking for a quick fix to a physical/mental problem that exorcism will not fix because there is no demon to expel. Some patients do quite well once they receive the appropriate help while others refuse to believe they have a mental illness and continue in their illness because they refuse to believe they're not possessed. My husband worked on a hospital mental ward for several years. He helped write the treatment protocol that was used to successfully treat patients. He met a patient or two that he said were definitely possessed. He could feel another presence and their behavior was quite different from the other patients including having extreme strength and their voices drastically changed. He has never been one to tell fanciful stories.
I'm an ex-Catholic and I must say that the Catholic Church has the best process for determining whether someone is possessed or mentally ill.
I find some so-called "exorcists" repulsive. They don't bother to determine whether a person is actually possessed or mentally ill. They perform "exorcisms" and it's easy to manipulate highly suggestible individuals into thinking they're possessed and to get them to act out.
It sure would if you don't know how strong or how many entities you are actually dealing with and you don't have the faith strong enough to deal with such situations.

@@JoeMotionVideos82 It wouldnt take much to sense what your dealing with as most people have that natural ability to discern their surroundings so clearly the more nervous, hesitant an fearful you become when coming into a situation involving exocisms should naturally determine what your dealing with without having to see any visual proof at all, it's the feelin that should set alarm bells ringing, if it's something your not capable of dealing with or you need some solid strong mighty faith to deal with such situations
The church sends people to psych professionals when they should be praying for them. The same God that expels the demons can heal all manner of sickness or being peace to the mind of the afflicted .

I respectfully disagree with you, but you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
Some seem very genuine - sincere, some don't ; but what I've seen, at the end of the day, the show is more for oneself than even Others. For some there's no show, it's 100% innocent inner sincerety. For many others, they don't even know they're basically doing a Munchausen attention seeking deal & don't even know it.

Answere me this, why would someone with a demon in them willingly walk into an exorcism? I mean logic would say that the demon would be like Nope, not going to happen, boss. These people are either mental or they crave attention.

@@kirstenferguson8204 exactly, in theory and in some cases, the person's sin has allowed possession but the person still there and if they do not consent they can't be fully possessed. Even if their will is weak a stronger (because of their faith) and charitable soul can assist them, like an assisted eviction with the help of authorities.

Before authorizing an exorcism, the church will rely on the evaluation of the alleged possessed person by a psychiatrist, the possessed person asks for help because they suffer physical attacks, horrendous visions, etc.
I find it ironic how these people are apparently only possessed in this country . What they need is mental health intervention and support. What your doing is harmful and unnecessary

Is not almost unbelievable, in my opinion it is unbelievable…it makes me believe that (if a person is truly possessed and not oppressed) then they don’t actually know what they’re doing. Honestly it seems like a demon would be having some “fun” playing with the Priest and/or the poor person, until they tire of it or get annoyed so to speak and move into someone else - and on and on it goes. The “rituals” of exorcism are not actually necessary - the way Jesus did it and how He taught the disciples and apostles in the New Testament, the Gospels and Acts mostly - was to take the authority He had given them and cast the demon(s) out without rituals, *with faith* in the God whose name they use and whose authority is what allowed them to just get rid of the demons as He did.
And now us, we can do that as followers of Christ, believers saved by Grace through faith and filled with the Holy Spirit, who can’t be possessed ourselves because the Holy Spirit certainly isn’t going to share space with a demon! As Jesus said in Matthew 6:24 You can’t serve two masters…a house divided against itself will fall. An interesting passage that speaks volumes is the story of the 7 sons of Sceva in Acts 19:11-20 it’s a good example of what we’re talking about here! An excerpt of it is verses 15-16 “But the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know and Paul I recognize but who are you?””😊
The reason is that the power of exorcism resides in the sanctity of the Church through the grace of God. Given the changes to mass and increasing teaching of errors, the grace of God has decreased resulting in longer exorcisms. But all of this has been foretold in Revelations.

So very wrong! A demons end goal is often to torment a soul to such a degree that the person ends their own life. The amount of suicides in Ireland today is absolutely heartbreaking. We are under attack, every day, and people just don't realise it.

well in my case personally i have no clue..... but yes there is a reason why this is a closed practice....because to be honest if everyone thought that the Catholic church did Exorcisms openly, people would thing that we were nuts...... and well, to be honest, you don't need to tell people this by screaming at the top of your lungs, just a neighbour getting to know someone who has gone through this, is more than enough to get that person and their family out and away from you........and also if you remember when it was the year 2012, people though that this world would end.... ....people would go hysterical if they knew that there were demons on our plain.....and also NOT all the people who THINK they are "possessed" are really possessed.....the Vatican has certain questions that person has to answer......and also you need to know that THE PRIEST WHO IS DOING THE EXORCISM HAS TO REMAIN A TOTAL SKEPTIC, that is because there can be people who may think of playing pranks you know.....so to discern if what someone is going through is really a possession or is just mentally unstable, a priest who is a real exorcist is only taught by a real Vatican certified Exorcist and ONLY certain priests can be trained.....and not all priests are trained exorcists.........so, yes it takes a lot to convince the Vatican to actually open up to this publicly..... and i really am very sorry to be so blunt......but that's how i am....i am a Roman Catholic by birth.....and though my mum has a scientific mind and my dad is very religious, i am more of the open minded person and i just like to learn more....but i know that this thirst for knowledge can and will get me into trouble one day.....but i hope that you have an amazingly awesome day where ever you are......stay safe, protected and blessed always....

The good people simply needed a way to stop people doing bad things which today has only proved that you cannot stop us humans from being bad because we are in fact bad, people rebelled against a certain religion and decided oh!, we will also make one ourselves!, but try make it better, this just kept going!, and going!. Why does it take so long? Instead of continuing repetitive prayers just tell the enemy of God to get out in the name of Jesus Christ just like Jesus taught His disciples and disciples continued to teach and wrote it all down for generations to the end of time.

Look, there is priest, who are current day exorcists, watch their interviews see what they have to say. They have said that they (1st hand account) have seen people float, what mental illness is that?

demons are not almighty and have not the same power of God. Exorcism can weaken them and they can go away for a bit. Also they are not omnipresent like God, sure they can go fast to some places but not be at the same times in different places. So yes they sometimes have a coffee and chill a bit after a fight against God because they can't handle HIM for long time.
Here's the thing about demonic possession: why would a demon possess these people? These aren't leaders, they're not rich; there is no strategic advantage. If you can't tell, I don't believe in possessions.
We are made in the image and likeness of God and our bodies are temples. It's to foul and make a mockery of the body. Nothing to do with leadership or power.
JESUS cast oust them out.. male, female, children, women, men. Nothing I read mentions any were leaders nor necessarily wealthy. It is to defile, MOCK GOD, & PROVOKE HIS WRATH.

Do you know it costs a man about seven hundred thousand dollars up front to entire a seminary, they study for seven years, and if they decide that the priesthood is not for them and they leave the seminary , they don't get a refund , that whole entire amount of money that the family payed for he's seven years of study goes straight into the diocese bank volt. No wonder the Catholic Church is the richest institution in world.
