Oh the fresh hot apple cider donut, I'm drooling at the thought. And I'm wiht you on apples, I have ALWAYS associated that smell (and fallen leaves) more with fall than pumpkins (which often smell yick when you have to clean out the "guts" to make a jack-o-lantern.)
One Halloween we ended up with a very thick-skinned pumpkin and couldn't carve it. So we decorated it with brightly colored band-aids and called it our "Booboo" pumpkin. It actually turned out to be the cutest one we've ever done. It would be something simple enough for Lily and Will to do on their own.
I love this! I remember when I was a kid, my mom cut a piece of muslin to fit over the stem of a pumpkin and cut out two little eye holes and made a ghost pumpkin. It was adorable ☺️

i’m definitely much more of a fan of SPOOKY spooky, i don’t like gore, but i love all the ghosts and spiderwebs and fog and jack o lanterns and all that fun stuff c: spooky doesn’t have to be gorey! it can still be whimsical and just eerie

I can never afford them cuz the shipping to Ireland is €20+, but I say if you can swing it for your budget then you should indulge. Soap will last a while, and you deserve a treat.
Soap lasts longer if you open it and let it sit for a while before you use it. You can make your soap do double duty to freshen drawers and closets for a while. (I'm broke, too. Toothbrushes and MuddyMint soap are my splurge.)

I dress up our skeletons and animal skulls for every holiday too haha. I specifically work overtime through September to for extra spending money every year to spend in October on decor

I like spooky, spooky! However, I grew up in an era where the movies Halloween, Friday the 13, and Nightmare on Elm Street were mega hits. Being a 70's - 80's child was so innocent that these movies took us way out of our comfort zone, and were kinda like that only happens in the movies thing. That being said, they terrify me, I get absolutely paranoid. I can't watch them alone and I have to have a blanket and pillow. Like that would save you in reality! Right? I only watch said movies around Halloween and am done with it for a whole year! After Halloween is over we undecorate the yard the next day and fall decorations go up, no more spooky, lol!

I with you "i like vite spooky" I also have to admit when you started the soap at the very end before you cut it and dried it I thought it was ugly, but once you cut it man this is the coolest soap I think you've done I love all your soaps but this one was definitely a collage of yumminess
