Thanks for the video!!!!! It looks muahhh😚I was looking for a new meal to try out and you just inspired me 😄 I'm making it on Sunday! Sharp Sharp tins!!!
My Chef 🙌🙌🙌, you really nailed this Stew👌👌❤❤, the bleached Palm oil will make the Souce taste even More Delicious, Hope biko open your door, I'm coming🏃♀️🥘🥘
I cannot forget in a hurry my first experience with ofada stew though I ate it with ofada rice I keep asking for more because of how delicious 😋 it taste, that was why when I got a notification that tasty city uploaded and saw the heading I directly clicked because I love ofada stew. Well arranged sis, well done.🙋
Nice recipe beautiful end result. One thing I do differently is blend scotch bonnet and 1 onion separate. That way it doesn’t get strained out with the excess water from peppers. Well done
Honestly u remind me of my days in school at The Polytechnic Ibadan, then those fried meat was 5.00 each. So with 50.00 u will be satisfied. The most sweetest part, was that u eat with ur hand well watched. Well done dear, is so yummy
Chaaiii sis you are on it again ,but why is it that the pot shouldn't be opened while bleeching the oil, locust bean always smells nice. Thanks sis for putting us through
Love your videos!!!! You have saved from Mcdonalds...lol. But I have a hard time getting all the sand out of my locust beans, no matter how long I wash it. And also is the goat meat and cow stripes cooked or raw before you mix them in?
I have not had ofada rice before but I can tell you that the stew looks delicious and yummy 😋👌. Looking forward to eating this one day. Hope thank you so much for sharing. I enjoyed the vlog.
🙏 Thank you so much bro Chibuike, you will love it, ofada stew is a very delicious stew when prepared with all the necessary ingredients, it is traditionally served with ofada rice but you can have it with normal rice, what matters is the taste of the stew 😊
This was good to watch! Looks yummy indeed. I have never known the water from the blended peppers to be used to boil meat. Will it not affect the taste of the meat and drown the seasoning? Could you please do a video on the uses/benefits of using this to boil meats and other uses? People like me would really appreciate this as I've never come across it before. Thank you so much. I have subscribed.
Sisiyemme did this recipe with green peppers but you did yours with red 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 I kinda like the way yours turned out and truthfully I only have red peppers at home lol so I'll use your recipe. Thanks
No dear, ofada stew is usually made with bleached palm oil because part of the delicious taste comes from bleaching the palm oil. Traditionally that is how it is made, but you can still give it a try without bleaching the palm oil but you won't get the same exact taste 😊
it is very difficult to make, for those that want to give it a try, make sure you disconnect all your smoke alarms in your homes before starting, this stew is meant for the outdoor kitchen not indoors
Thanks for watching dear! yes i love the smell of locust beans, when it is been fried in oil there is this unexplainable aroma it realises and i love it so much 😊
I will definitely come with the ofada rice...but nnem I discovered that you just used 6 eggs because you are 6 in the family. That means am not invited. .anyways I still enjoyed watching this recipe. .it turns out yummy and satisfying. Happy Sunday ma'am.
It’s called ofada rice...brown like rice and while some may be white because I’ve actually bought the white one before. But mostly in brown in color, you can tell them when in market, that you want the ofada rice!

Hi dear! Thanks for watching, of course you can do without them just that it adds a local taste to the stew but if you don't have it you can make it without and it will still taste good okay 😊
No dear it won't be peppery 😁 the red bell peppers and green bell pepper are not spicy at all! The only spicy pepper is the 3 scotch bonnet peppers i used which you can always adjust to your taste 😊
Oh i am so going to the international food market tomorrow to buy the ingredients. I want to surprise my hubby with this awesome meal for dinner tomorrow. Thank you for this great recipe

Hi dear, i think the easiest way to wash them is to pour them into a strainer run some water from the tape and wash.

That tip for bleaching the oil is quite helpful, but can it be made without bleaching the oil at all? The outcome is delish! I love it👏
No dear, ofada stew is usually made with bleached palm oil because part of the delicious taste comes from bleaching the palm oil.
Traditionally that is how it is made, but you can still give it a try without bleaching the palm oil but you won't get the same exact taste 😊
Tasty City alright sisi, thanks for the explanation 😘
Good. Please what did you add together with the fried meat.?
Adding all these pepper, won't stew be peppery?
Love the outcome
Yes with the 3 spicy peppers I’d use 1 or 2 and remove the seeds
it is very difficult to make, for those that want to give it a try, make sure you disconnect all your smoke alarms in your homes before starting, this stew is meant for the outdoor kitchen not indoors
Just burn incense after
I like the ofada stew , but I am wondering if it will not be too hot (i.e since pepper is the major ingredient)
Exactly what I was going to comment....what about people that don’t eat much pepper, can they add small tomato ?
Chai this is crowd pleasing 😋😋👌.. My Nigerian friend introduced me to Ayamase n since then.. Im stuck😍😋✌️
