I think Mark Sucui claimed that skating rails is easier if you commit than skating more technical stuff. I love Marks skating but heâs so wrong, even some of the best rail skaters still get bodied.

@@Drawoj I'm not exactly sure how the split works but I believe you need to train your muscles(the ones that allow sideways extension and flexion) so that eventually you can split. If those muscles aren't trained then they won't stretch and probably tear. I'm honestly not exactly sure how your femur got fractured since from what I understood, the way it happened, I feel your knee ligaments would of let go first.
@@shoutingraven9571 after I landed left leg first, it kinda planted and my right leg got dragged by my board. When my right leg was dragged, my left thigh kinda twisted while my left leg was still on the same position.

Iâm almost 2 months post OP on my left femur after I broke it doing a f/s 180 on a stage. Landed it pretty bad almost the same as his but in a sideways split. Hoping for a fast recovery and to skate soon.

As a kid i couldn't watch these before I'd skate. But as i grew older, i realized how many tried some pros take to land a trick and how hard they slam, and just get back up like it was just a scratch. Really makes u think about how much the human body can handle. Some of these guys have broken just about half the bones in their body lol poor loyd breaking his stick wrists lol
