Yeah, their outfits are amazing and they really care about their hairstyle and things like that. They just look perfect.
And yes, Momoko is the perfect fit for BABYMETAL.
We will never know the reasons why they choose this version but we know it's special. The song is considered a love letter to their fans. With an all English version to thank the overseas fans for learning the lyrics of their songs in Japanese and sing them during their first world tour in 2014. They used this same version (although not shortened) for their hiatus announcement in 2021. "The ONE" actually refers to the sum of fanbase, BABYMETAL themselves and all their staff (aka "team BABYMETAL") They mentioned that during these last uncertain years many of their people struggled big time without being able to work due the restrictions. It may be not their most favorite song but the emotional factor is still there. Furthermore, they were introducing Momoko as an official member here. So they chose this particular song and version for them, and for us.

You guys, i was really hoping for you to get the chance to see them live recently.
A couple of days ago they started the Sabaton's Europe Tour, first at Leeds, then London and yesterday was Cardiff, tomorrow is Glasgow turn finishing the UK leg, everyone is having a blast with these, so far all the sets were different and yesterday they surprised everyone with the dance choreo for METAL KINGDOM in the middle of the set.
This is the same version we heard at "The One - Stairway To Living Legend " in 2021 when they went on hiatus sealing the group officially and thanking all of us, The One. This one is like a short version of that, hence the "Unfinished Version" title, so highly suggest you to watch that moment in the official YT place.
We're so proud of Momoko now becoming a superlady, this is actually the second time she's in an official MV as MomoMetal, the first one was in Mirror Mirror.🍑❤️

Momoko has been on stage with Su and Moa for years. So on paper her being the official third member shouldn't make so much of a difference. Yet it feels so much better, emotionally it's like night and day. Finally they are complete again. And those who have watched Sakura Gakuin's web shows know that she is an awesome character as well.

Nice reaction. Babymetal The One. This seems like the Living Legend version of the song. Momometal while still in Sakura Gakuin some years ago said she wanted to be in Babymetal. When she said it they all laughed with the that's never going to happen feeling to it. Especially since Yui was still with them at the time. But as Su has said 'All things are possible through Babymetal. And now Momoko is part of Babymetal. Like Yui before her she will now forever be linked to them. This might be the only time you get to see all three of them standing still while singing so enjoy it while you can. lol

I believe performing this song (which is essentially a love letter to the fans) is a stylish way to announce that BabyMetal is moving on on from the old BabyMetal to the new (without disrespecting Yui). She will never be forgotten.

Expecially at the beginning, you can tell how tense and nervous Momoko was! She had a really stiff expression, if you compare her to how relaxed SU and Moa looked!
This is not the first time BM played this version of "The One"! If you go on their official page, you can find "The One - Stairway to Living Legends" and it's exactly the same version, a little bit longer! That's why I'm slightly disappointed because I hoped we would get a new song with this kind of arrangment, but hey, it's all good :D
About the outfits, I'm glad they finally moved on from they all Black they had during the Metal Galaxy era! They always changed outfits after every tour, and I would love to see new costumes next year! Maybe a white one, or a new dark era with Gothic kind of clothes!

Imo this was a mistake - especially singing in English - her American English voice is nice but imo nothing special - and this is really a song for fans - maybe not the best intro to BM for someone unfamiliar with them. A shame because Monochrome was staggeringly good
No, this is not. They absolutely know what they're doing. Maybe not for TFT sake, but for Babymetal sake this is smart move to used TFT for introducing Momoko to Babymetal community officially.

I was a bit disappointed that hey choose “The One” the English version for this but after some consideration I get the purpose of having Momometal as the third member now and wanting to show her to the world in such a setting, where the song fits perfectly.
