However the celebrations of Day of the Dead is not as usual this year. Therefor we show you how it’s actually like to celebrate Dia de Muertos this year. Because despite the changes, the celebrations are beautiful, the city is colorful and full of decorations and we truly enjoy a couple of wonderful days meeting new friends, exploring the city, honoring the dead, joining celebrations, having our faces painted with sugar skull makeup and much much more.

Wow, what a nice arrangements and decorations of the city for celebrate the Day of the Dead. Seems that locals are really enjoying on that day...very colorful festival. Nice face paintings...you two were handsome and pretty than natural...ha...ha..ha...(just kidding) Ya...understood that you guys had really nice time there. We had so much fun enjoying Day of the Dead with you! This is such an awesome video that really captured the energy and spirituality of this special time. We also know too well that things don't always go to plan (such a same about Monte Alban)... but that's the beautiful thing about travelling!

GUYS! We finally have internet 🙌🏼 This was such a lovely video - I’m so happy we bumped into you on the street! You guys feasted so well while you were here. We also thought that Oaxaca was one of the most beautiful cities we’ve ever been to - and not overly busy. The sugar skull makeup transition was 🔥 It’s all that beautiful blonde hair with that skull makeup - also you’re clearly famous! Hahahah I FORGOT ABOUT THE WOLF 😂 Sorry guys that you didn’t get into the ruins - travel can be like that sometimes 😌 Hope to see you guys on the road again soon 🙌🏼

Breakfast looked awesome. What was it that y'all had? Wait, Emily and Tom? That's awesome that you ran into fellow CZcamsrs. I just started following there channel recently. I remember running into a random wedding parade in Leon, Spain a couple years ago. So fun when random things cross your path. The city is gorgeous. Looks super clean. Did you guys run into the Country Collectors as well? What camera do y'all use? That face paint is awesome 😆. Those dance moves 💃🕺. Death is part of llife. I love that Spanish and Mexican cultures appreciates and celebrates the life of those that died. In the US death is such a somber affair. When I die I want people partying it up in my honor. Oh you guys ran into the Outlawes as well? So cool. Excellent video guys.
Haha yes we had a lot of fun together with them 🥳 yes I really love when random paths crosses. We didn’t run into the country collectors (but I know Emily and Tom did haha). But yes we met up with the outlawes as well. Right now I’m using a GoPro 8 and the DJI magic air (drone) but I’m looking for a better clogging camera (so I’ll update my equipment before the year is over🎥)✨ Wish you a beautiful day 🙏🏽✨
Have a trip booked for Oaxaca Dia de los Muertos for Monday Oct 31 - Friday Nov 4. Am I making a mistake not booking for Oct 29th and 30th as well? Are there celebrations bigger the days leading up to dia de los muertos, or do the dates I have booked fine as well?
Hi Lee! Apologies for my late reply but it sounds amazing with your upcoming trip. I would say that especially the 30th is a day you want to be there as well. I wish you amazing adventures! We will be celebrating Dia de los Muertos in San Christobal this year ✨
