You know when life's troubles wear me down being a Street Preacher spiritual attacks never ending. I bring up the cathedrals on CZcams and I watched them several times a day it always gives me a smile and the spiritual strength to keep fighting evil that is destroying this country.
It's always a joy and a pleasure to listen to this group. I group up on these songs and I thank the Lord for great songs like these and the people with such amazing talents and gifts given by a God of love.
I wish they were still around. They were the greatest gospel group I have ever heard. May George Younce and Glenn Pane Rest In Peace. God bless you all. I know both of them are up there on there just singing away. We miss you guys.
I love Ernie and Ss. I do. Closes to Cathedrals u can ever get. I love Gaither vocal band. With Mark, Michael and Guy. Wow. I listen almost every waking moment. Taking nothing away from rest. Cathedrals will always be best
Thank you for posting this concert. i got to see them 1 time in concert in the late 1980's. my cousin talked me in going with him to see them. i said i dont like them but i went anyway and after seeing them and hearing them in person, i have loved them ever since. George Younce was a hoot.
I was almost run down by a Wal-Mart Greeter many, many years ago. The man was handicapped, in a wheelchair, but I'd recently undergone lumbar spine surgery. It was hard to avoid being struck. I did, but I was a little perturbed and concerned for my safety. I never saw that man again at the store. Those electric wheelchairs are sometimes a little hard to control.
Scott sang most of the higher lead. Glen and Scott did a lot of switching. He also did that with mark trammel as well. Scott and mark had such a range that when the lead part for higher they would swap with glen and glen would switch to Barritone. When scott came it was different. Glen went down to Barritone and scott did sing a lot of second tenor as well.

I cannot believe they are retired. The two younger singers could not be retiring so I hope they will be joining other gospel groups.

I’ve heard from folks that were there that it was actually a good bit longer, what we see here is just what made it into the video.

Glen Payne was the lead singer for the Cathedrals and not the baritone. Scott Fowler was the baritone.
a correction to your description, scott fowler is a baritone, not 2nd tenor and Glen Payne is lead, not barritone
