@@RayanM50B25 still it won't make drifting quicker than grip. Because lower grip doesn't mean he can drift faster than normal grip, because more wheelspin doesn't make a car goes faster. So even with lower grip tyres, grip style still faster around corners than drift style, unless sharp corners

If you're referring to normal CamPro, yes it's a bit slower acceleration but bit higher top speed. But CPS? Yes the Waja in this movie is not CPS but CPS Waja is way faster than the Mitsu engine Waja.

Look up the Proton Waja 1.6 CPS it's stock speedometer has *240kmh* on it to those who thinks a Waja can only max 180kmh, later model Wajas could easily reach 200kmh.
Tuned Waja can reach 200+, the stock one have some kind of limiter so it can't reach 200 stock, I'm a Waja owner, highest I ever reach is around 185-197 km/h.
@@haluyolo7568 my uncle has a stock Waja the recent facelift one and it has 240kmh on the speedometer tho I don't think it could reach that speed effectively with a stock engine it might but it will take a long time and might bust the engine.
@@alistairdiren5790 I know bro. I even said I own a Waja. But when you're saying a STOCK Waja can reach 200 km/h, that's where you're wrong. The stock Waja, Proton make a restriction to the rpm it can't reach the maximum rpm of the engine no matter how you drive it if it's STOCK. The reason why Proton restricted it, so the engine could last longer. Even the speedometer have 240 km/h as the maximum number, but the stock performance can't reach that fast because:
Limited rev= it limits top speed for every gear than it could actually get.
Less top speed for every gear= Less max speed.
So a stock Waja have around 190+km/h it can't reach 200 at all. Just around 196-197 like that depends on the road conditions. Unless you tuned it just to get a higher rpm limit, then it can reach 200+. Plus it takes more than 10 seconds for 0-100 acceleration, so definitely word "easily" reach 200 is not "easy". And it can't even go that far. Besides, Waja's best performance is when it comes to cornering. Ask your uncle for proof, Waja's handling is outstanding and trust me if I said Waja is even better than Honda City that released at Waja's era because I've driven one too. People know Waja for its handling, even British use Waja as British Touring Championship race, where it's a circuit race and in that race, Waja really shines at cornering, not for top speed at the track. And if you want to test actual speed, don't trust the dashboard speedometer, get the gps app and test it, it'll results more accurate max speed.
A stock engine might reach 240 if the limiter is removed. But since you're referring to a "stock" Waja, that means it comes with limiter from factory. And that means it can't reach 200. Hope that helps
@@haluyolo7568 your not wrong there's many videos of Wajas that can corner and handle better than some Japanese cars like that old video of a stock Proton Waja and Perdana racing on a track against a stock Porsche Cayman and those two Protons easily beat the Cayman in the turns.

Waja and Persona both participate in BTCC race, while old Saga and Wira participate for rally, then continues in rally using Satria Neo and Iriz, and trust me for rally, Proton is Asian champion from before year 2000. And then after few years Proton didn't participate in rally for a while, but when they participate again using Satria Neo S2000, Proton won again, and now Iriz R5, Proton won rally for 2017, 2018 and 2019 straight. And other than BTCC, Waja also I've saw a red one for Melaka Millennial Endurance but their main weapon is Lotus 300 RR and they won, so there's a special limited edition Waja, called Waja MME with 122hp but on the catalogue, R3(motorsports division for Proton, just like Honda they have Type R) R3 only state MME Waja and Gen-2 have around 118hp but actually it's 122hp(while CamPro Waja have 110hp)
Satria also have a lot of R3 variant like:
Satria GTi R3 (it's black with red stripe, not normal grey GTi)
Satria Neo R3
Satria Neo R3 but with same elements like the GTi R3
Satria Neo Clubsport(the most rare variant, 10 builds only)
And the most "flagship"one is:
Satria Neo R3 Lotus Limited Edition, less than 20 only available and already sold out, price around RM115,000
And Proton also defending champion for endurance Sepang 1000km with Suprima S, new Saga and new Iriz.
So Proton is actually powerful in motorsports, even their name once in the hall of fame especially for Rally. So this really prove how good Proton at cornering strength. But kinda sad it doesn't commercial wisely so still many people didn't realize how good Proton really is.
That's is the slowest 180sx I have ever seen as JDM Car lover. It doesn't have "Stutututu" sound either.😂
