Some phrases used on one (withdrawn due to complaints) episode of Dogs behaving badly where 8 year old Ruby would only get off the sofa if the rug was over the laminate flooring, and would sit down and stop on walks…
    ‘being a madam’
    ‘Controlling the diva’
    ‘Indulging her with rugs’
    ‘Thinks she’s in charge’
    OR
Is this actually a dog that is overweight, and in pain, a dog scared of slipping and hurting, a dog trying to tell everyone that she’s uncomfortable?
It’s not indulging her with a rug, it’s making sure her own home is accessible and safe for her. She’s not ‘being a diva’ and refusing to walk, she’s telling you it hurts and she’s uncomfortable and there should have been a vet referral but of course GH wouldn't know that would he

Our pets are very special to us. If we get health advice we would want our vet to give us the most current up to date advice.
This Morning if you had a vet on the show you would want to make sure they were appropriately qualified and were giving the advice was current and in the animals best interest ?
Just from the little clip you have here, it is VERY CLEAR that Mr Hall is not informed with current training methods, and there is little information on his resume to suggest that he has either a reputable qualification or upto date with the rapidly evolving knowledge on dog behaviour !
    WHY ?

Blossom- How not to train. This is flooding, all those dogs,(you should start with one dog at a distance...BAT and LAT training), and some that will look to Blossom as if they have their hackles up and tails over their backs, (like the Akita, Alaskan Malamute,Eskimo Dog, Chow-Chow, Siberian Husky, and Spitz)because of their shape. That yawn is a stress yawn, most trainers and behaviourists will advise owners to watch out for signs of stress in their dogs, and one of these signs is often excessive yawning in that situation but of course GH wouldn't know that would he?

You are giving credence to someone who is NOT a dog trainer, has no significant dog training credentials except one that you can buy by being a member of an organisaton and paying yearly for it which is where he gets his "master trainer" credential. He knows nothing about dog body language or dog behaviour. This is clear from the way he conducts himself in his TV shows and gets it wrong nearly every time. This man has absolutely NO reason to be on TV showing other people how to train their dogs. It's appalling. So appalling in fact that they had to remove one episode where he told the owners of an elderly and arthritic dog that she would not walk because she was being a "Diva". In fact the dog could not walk because she was in so much pain. You didn't have to be a dog trainer to see that this was what was happening. There were lots of complaints over this, and they had to remove the episode. Everything in the TV show is a set up, as confirmed by someone who took part in the show, and then posted in one of her local facebook groups to talk about her experience. Even people they are alleged to have "met" while out, have been primed to say things they are told to say to stick to a script. Even the background of the dog was misrepresented, as confirmed by this dog owner. In his latest book he talks about using "science" to understand dogs. Proper, educated dog trainers do use science to train dogs which is humane and force free. This man would not recognise the science of dog training if it dropped on his head and knocked him out. The sooner he's removed from TV and disappears into obscurity the better. Good Morning would have been much better having someone on like Steve Mann who has appeared on TV many times and has had a TV show along with having written several books and has a course running with the BBC. He is an educated and knowledgeable person who actually knows how to train dogs, not this idiot in tweed.

Also charges a fortune for training that doesn't even work long term

Oh great, Graham Hall yet again. The 'trainer' with absolutely no qualifications, who calls dogs 'naughty' or 'divas' when in fact they are just afraid or uncomfortable. Please do not listen to this man most of his advice is unhelpful and some of it is actually dangerous. He has a good agent, and that's why he is all over TV. He has no empathy, no kindness and no real understanding of dog behaviour.

Lazy producers go to the current TV “trainer”. This man isn’t a trainer, he’s dangerous and his approach puts dogs and their owners at risk.

The dog is bored. Working dogs and large dogs need to be walked and run. His back yard was very small.

Wow he is trying positive reinforcement training and getting it wrong. That what happens when you get into training without the relevant knowledge of what you are doing.
A snuffle won't stop a deal g being destructive. Right sentiment, wrong decision.
Leave it isn't taught by stopping the dog by the lead from getting the toy. Build the concept to look away from food in your hand and reward that before it goes to the floor then build distractions gradually. Any dog will leave when yelled leave it
A dog must learn to be calm before loose lead and holding him in place whilst holding a treat will only work for a very short time before they get bored
Do better and learn more. It's shameful he charges so much and is on TV and knows very little about effective training
