Brilliant, the filming is second to none as is the fishing. Well done Andrew
Thanks.
Great footage, Best moment for me is as the pike appears the second time and the roach even not bother
Thank you very much! I enjoyed watching this footage. I used a Preston Banjo feeder on my last outing, had some nice carp and bream, amazing to see things from the fishes point of view!
I used 6mm dumbel wafter and sinkers, 4" hair rig hooklength. I didn't have much confidence with the wafters, caught more on the sinker. I used a size 12 barbless hook, more of a sea fisherman in my younger days, I still think size 12 hook is too small, lost a few as I was netting! :)
As you did see, you need to experiment in the edge..
Cheers
Brilliant. The video is excellent and I learn something every time I watch your channel. We dont have all your course fish in New Zealand. A few tench and english perch spots and carp are considered noxious pest. Do have decent trout though.
Keep up the good work.and thanks.
Great footage mesmerising Andy and some good quality silvers in the river could watch this all night keep them coming and I'm sure u will catch a tench as well just a bit more time needed.think uv invented the future in fishing watching live fish take your bait great viewing pal 👌🐟🎣
Yeah, it will happen just as you say I need to spend more time there..
next time try with micropellets, i'm sure you gonna catch more bream because in the video the groundbait is all over the place, which makes it alot harder the bream to choose your hookbait
I agree. The bream are tasting the groundbait as it floats around the fed area but there are no particles to tempt them in closer. Micro pellets and a few sample hookbaits scattered around should draw them in. I like to create a groundbait cloud above the bottom to excite the small fish and add taste to draw the bigger fish in. By throwing a few free hookbaits over the area to give the larger fish confidence to feed then hopefully a method feeder with the hookbaits buried in micro pellets will hook a feeding fish.
very interesting andrew, and very good videoing
Great channel. Subbed.
Thanks for the sub!
17:50 dat ghost pike face lol
best 48mins ever
Thanks.
Great video Andrew. What camera do you use as viewing the activity looks as fascinating as catching !!!!
It was so odd and funny to see the tench suck up the whole feeder.
Yes, it was crazy. Whilst I was setting up the rod, that Tench ate it without me even seeing that fact live!
Hoping to see live bait pyke fishing with this camera!
You should.
That tench just grabbed your method feeder
Yes! And it did whilst I was putting my rod on the rests..
Spotted huge pike at 07:17👌🏻
Correct.
Is this filmed with a GoPro? Nice work!
Sony.
👍🎣
Thanks.

No comment on how hilarious it was when that kid said fukin twat
