Just for reference. At 2.4 GHz the pedal could in theory send the "amperage" to the machine thirty thousand times per second easily. We can only see between 30-60 frames per second in a movie and our reaction time is something like 200ms which is about the amount of time it would take for 2.4GHz to send something like six thousand amperage settings from the pedal to the machine. That being said, engineers create bad designs all the time. Just because its possible, doesn't mean they did it.

A serious product review would have been very helpful. Distance is probably one of the least informative after 25 feet. How well does it control the machine, how comfortable is it to use, battery life etc would have been some area you could have investigated that would have been more helpful.

Also i think you mean distance from machine not torch... the distance from the pedal to your torch doesnt mean anything theres no connection or variable for that. Distance from machine is really the only variable and that's controlled by length of cord. If you have a 100' cord. You can put the pedal ontop of the machine it still has to go thru 100ft of cable

Peter, having a Wire less is just having one less cable to deal with and cable not getting caught on things or tripped on. it is useful in certain situations, I personally would like to try one, it is about the same price as a corded foot pedal, but adding extensions to a foot pedal are very expensive....the big advantage would be on big transformer machines that are not easily moved like an inverter machine. or being able to power an inverter close to AC power without the risk of running a long heavy gauge extension cord for power. hope this helps....Paul

If you tested and stated that everything was perfect, and you're tying to find the limit of the thing, sure do a 150ft test.
But how does it feels ? Does it slips ? How long do the battery last ? What is the reaction time ? Is it strong enough to resist in a manufacturing environment ? How much does it costs ? How does it compares to a crappy pedal ? How does it compare ro a premium pedal ?
