Planetary Annihilation: Titans is a great Real Time Strategy (RTS) game, noted as a spritual successor to Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance.
Get ready for epic battles and world-destroying action in Planetary Annihilation: Titans! This real-time strategy game features a huge variety of robot army units, including massive Titan-class super units, hover tanks, orbital battleships, and nanobot swarms. Fight on multi-level terrain planets and solar systems against up to 32 players and use your strategic skills and knowledge of your units to emerge victorious. But beware, if your commander is destroyed, it's game over!
Some of my favorite ways to annihilate the opposition include using the Ragnarok to explode an entire planet, Halley rocket engines to collide planets, a giant army of Tech 2 tanks, Titans, nukes, and the Annihilazer to turn a planet into a super weapon laser. Are you ready to conquer the universe and reign supreme in Planetary Annihilation: Titans?

I absolutely know the feeling of just not knowing what to do. Especially with 2x build speed i feel like the game would get super confusing.
Haha yea that 2x mod just moved everything along very quickly. I think when very large orbital units and warfare starts there's the potential to just go...errrr what should I do to win this, whilst trying to keep your own resources in check! Thanks for watching 👍
I'd say prioritize economy, and when that is active, actively upgrade to tier 2 and Kernels until you are able to spam titans and unit cannons. Im quite new at the game too but I noticed that hotkeys helped me a lot, combined with a standardized way of playing (i split the game in stages, and decide beforehand what I usually do during those stages). At 2x, I just try to progress 2x faster through those stages. I love how complicated this game can get lol

Haha it was rather lucky wasn't it, but not incredibly, just mildly. A bit slightly more than mildly lucky, perhaps...very lucky.
You should do a galactic war with mods and I would love to see that from your perspective. Love your content keep it up.
I may just oblige to do that. I have never looked at what galactic war mods there are!
ok so... i made, the entire solar system... in this game... including a few moons... i have yet to see an epic scale battle be fought in it... and i need it.

Ik this is old but when ur mass making unit cannons, and u have some making advanced fabs, just dedicate 1 to make 50-50 and the rest to make ur fighting troops. U didnt need all those cannons producing advanced fab bots. U needed more slammers

I think it is called 'more pew pew'? Not infront of pc at the moment but can check later if not

i feel like since you were the closest planet to the annihilaser you could've rushed it with unit cannon fabricators and just lasered everyone else pretty quickly. then again, that might've been less interesting on video
Yea I probably could have although multiplanet management is not a strong suit of mine. I do love the annilhilazer though! Heh
@@DanRTS Lot of time is taken up switching between planets and looking at them. Perhaps using control groups (ctrl-1-9), and double pressing a recall group (1-9) to select teleporters/factories, and reserving say 9-5 (or "unused" slots, where nothing important is there) for temporary armies or defended scout parties and just using that to flip around to armies you send out may help reduce the time spent looking at multiple planets.
I personally find that half the time spent managing multi-planetary is just moving back and fourth between the two planets if you use zero control groups. The game gives you one at the start (1 to select commander) so that can help quite a bit already.
I haven't tried the temporary army thing yet, it should technically be better, but until then, I believe finding a way to use at least 2-3 control groups to switch between planets in whatever way you're comfortable first would be best. You can also just use it for unit cannons/nukes or whatever.

You mean like factions? There are two faction mods that are fantastic, ones called legion and the other bugs.

You need to add the faction mods within mod manager on the main menu.
If you go on single player skirmish, then select 'team armies', you'll be able to add multiple players per team. Hope that helps!
IS this dead or people still play? I went back to Forged alliance Forever. 2 planets was enough...anymore and it was jus too much shit going on
If I'm honest, it really has quietend down. Whilst you'll usually be able to find a game to play in the evenings, and if you host one people will join, those aren't very begginer friendly. I have been playing a bit of BAR recently and the game is super active. I will start recording more BAR content soon.
Heh yea more than 2 planets is incredibly hard to manage. I tend to set up tasks on other planets and let them go for it.
@@DanRTS I tried bar but it's just ugly..I wish the graphics and units looked better.. I've literally Uninstalled and installed it 3 different times lol I just feel supcom is a much much better game so why play something inferior I don't have that much time to waste lol
I personally think the game graphics are pretty decent, especially after the recent gfx update. The UI is horrible though, they need a proper UI designer on board. It's very 'developer' designed. Heh.
I used to love and be genuinely really good at SupCom, then fell away from it, and recently tried FAF and it was super baffling to me. Need to pick it up again!
@@DanRTS why was it baffling? Lol it hasn't changed really. I still think it's way better than any other rts..I feel like it might stay this way for good..I hope I'm wrong but there isn't much hope
Haha. Baffling because I've been playing a lot of PA, and trying to meld my mind back to it was hard. I mean it has been about 12 years of not playing it. I need to spend some time with it again!
